> His job was to protect the random number generators that decided who won jackpots across nearly three dozen states.

> He rigged them instead.

> Eddie entered the fortified Drawing Room alone and disabled the cameras to record one second per minute. 59 seconds of every minute were invisible.

> He inserted a memory stick that loaded self deleting software into the random number generator.

> The software produced winning numbers on three specific days of the year that only he knew in advance.

> His brother Tommy, a sitting Texas justice of the peace, won $568,990 in Colorado.

> Associates collected jackpots in Wisconsin, Kansas and Oklahoma.

> Tipton himself bought a $14.3 MILLION ticket at a Des Moines convenience store wearing a hoodie and walked out.

> He forgot about the security camera above the counter.

> The ticket sat unclaimed for nearly a year because nobody could figure out how to collect it without being identified.

> They tried claiming it through an anonymous offshore trust in Belize. Iowa rejected it. Winners must be identified by law.

> The Iowa Lottery released the grainy convenience store footage publicly, hoping someone would recognize the man in the hoodie.

> An employee at the Maine Lottery recognized the voice immediately.

> It was Eddie. The man who had spent a week auditing their security a few years earlier.

> A web developer at the Iowa Lottery recognized it too. She had worked alongside him for years.

> 5 states. Multiple rigged jackpots stretching back to 2005. The largest lottery fraud in US history.

> Sentenced to 25 years. Served 4 and a half. Paroled quietly in January 2022.

> His brother Tommy got 75 days.

Every time you bought a lottery ticket on those specific days and lost, the man protecting the numbers already knew who was going to win.

His brother should have gotten more time.

I don't play, so I don't care who won or lost. The government incentivizing gambling is disgraceful.

Easy fix is don’t let anyone pick their own numbers.

Fraud, theft, corruption, and murder.......across every institution, including law enforcement, cleric, and schools and universities..........everywhere.

I don't see how we can continue to absorb this level of rampant corruption, senseless violence, and survive as a nation.

In one horrific violent incident we see the absolute horror of the violence that is now spreading like a cancer.

Her name was Iryna Zarutska.

People wonder why the younger generations don't want to even try. They aren't blind.

The Lottery. Where the government is the operator, the media are the shills, and the stupid are the mark.

I hate people, in general, more everyday. I've long suspected half our population is running some scam be it rigging lotto, scamming VA, SSDI, EBT, etc..., simple ID theft and CC scams or just straight up shoplifting. I see what people drive, how they dress, what phones they carry and there's just no way based on avg income #s and what not.

Couldn’t you technically still win if you chose the correct numbers? You’d just split the jackpot

Yes but the person rigging it cannot pick his own numbers, so he will not win.

Hopefully before long with AI we can eliminate most fraud. Fraud occurs in govt institutions because most govt workers simply don’t give a shite. They’re there to collect a paycheck. They aren’t likely to look too deep into anything because it’s not a job requiring efficiency due to company profit motive. AI can replace most govt desk jobs and should be able to easily identify fraud. For example if a clinic files false Medicaid claims. Govt worker likely will just process the claim and accept paperwork as accurate. AI computer can read the paperwork and through data mining find out if the patient is real and in fact visited that clinic. AI can quickly do due diligence to verify legitimacy on welfare applications, grants, loans, Medicaid claims, etc. It can collect financial information to ensure a person or business truly qualifies for the program. It could go far deeper than any run of the mill govt worker would do. Our local FSA guy is one of the few govt workers I’ve met who does take his job seriously and will call out and deny farmers trying to game the system to get ridiculous amounts of crop insurance or disaster payments. I do appreciate that and wish more were like him. There are other counties who will simply rubber stamp whatever. He called awhile back to inform us there was a qualifying weather event if we needed to file for a loss of fish but we had no loss from the event so I that’s what I told him. Many others will try to fudge records to get free money. I cannot stand that, it’s theft of tax dollars. It’s not hard to go do the best job you can and take pride in that, but if disaster occurs then use the safety net as intended.

The biggest issue in our nation is many people aren’t honest anymore. Integrity is down the toilet these days. Little value is placed on doing an honest job and hard work and being frugal. We waste too much we don’t fix anything or conserve we just throw it away and buy a new one. I save a ton of money by dismantling every piece of equipment that is worn out beyond repair, I’ll save every good part left on it down to bolts and nuts to reuse for repairs on equipment that I still use. Men don’t keep their word. I have many faults like anyone, but I can say if I give you my word I will keep it and I will not steal from anyone.

Growing up I did not live through tough times but I worked for wealthy men from the Depression era and I took note of how they conducted business. The reason they were the Greatest Generation is simple: the hard times taught them life lessons and habits that led to success. The formula was always the same: work hard, be frugal and don’t throw anything good away, honor your word, show loyalty and appreciation towards those who are good to you, treat your employees with respect but demand their best. I followed their example out of admiration and it has paid off for me. Too many people today want the easy way, they want to blame everyone else, they want to game the system, they aren’t willing to sacrifice their time, their bodies, and forego luxuries to build anything whether it be a career, a business, or a family. Too much selfishness and greed

If you're a Christian, you know how it ends, you just don't know when. I personally feel like we've reached the point of no return. There's enough fraud, corruption, greed, etc that we may be only a couple of generations away now.

No doubt the high speed computers can do whatever the government needs done. The only time I will play is when it is over 1 billion.

... known for years ...

... now do the parallel of how the rigged lottery winner would be in a state that needed the taxes to pay for the rigged election votes ...

... no longer a conspiracy theory ...
