I could use a diet.

I'll come out a lean, mean, fighting machine.

I have been stocking up but went into overdrive a month ago. Waiting on my Mylar bags, O2 absorbers and 5 gal buckets with gamma lids to be delivered.

Packed away 25 more pounds of pork chops. Need to get more canned and fry goods but I am confident we could last 4 months plus 6 if we stretch and add more wild game into the mix

Yep, a food shortage could be the motivation I’ve been looking for.

I’ll probably steal food from liberals first.

Have about 3 months of "emergency" food and MREs.

Have a lot of "shelf stable" canned food.

Inlaws have a garden.

Lots of ammo for hunting.

Won't be a picnic, but I think we'll be okay.

1 elk, 2 whitetail, and 5 hogs in the freezer in addition to several bags of white perch from this spawning season. Garden out back with several bags of dried peas/beans that we've bought over the last 6 months or so.

A buddy of mine has a small cattle operation. I just signed on to buy a side of grass fed black angus processed to my specs. Delivery on that is early Nov.

Ever heard the saying "9 meals to anarchy"? Means if people don't eat in 3 days, rioting and lawlessness will prevail.

Plenty of freeze dried food here, enough for several months, plus canned goods, freezer (although if power goes out, that will get eaten first - have generator to keep it cold for a little while).

And lots of bullets.
