Looking at this list of United States Governors, I can't quite figure out why Louisiana is not joining in with the other Southern states.

OK Karen. Anyone can drive in and out of Florida. It's not locked down.

The SE is the only part of free America left im afraid. Last states to do stay at home, first to reopen. None have had overbearing police states during it.

And none of us are really any worse off than any other state

The media sure liked showing testing centers early on. Not so much now here.

Probably because Louisiana has significantly more Covid-19 cases than the other southern states.

Florida is reopening, De Santis is just looking for political cover. He knows Dems are going to try to hang any response around his neck.

I’m shocked LA isn’t involved in this....

Why? This is expected. You have an OMB governor running this state.

Karen was heard yelling on I-10 this morning:

“LA folks need to stay away from bammer’s beaches. Don’t bring your cornhole virus cooties over here!!”

Objectively, if you look at the numbers, the only other state that really comes close in the number of cases is FL. What happens if the number of cases/deaths significantly increase as a result of opening too soon. Then JBE is gonna look real good. Also, keep in mind, he's not running for re-election, so that's another factor.

When Mississippi and Alabama reopen, and Louisiana doesn’t, I’m renting an air b&b on the coast and working from my home by the beach

Um. You can’t compare LA and FLorida unless you do cases per 100k.

I suspect you don’t want to do that.
