Someone forgot to tell him Trump can't win the general election again. DeSantis knows that.

That's last months talking point. Trump is trashing Biden. DeSantis on the other hand not looking so good.

Trump has about 35% support locked up. And a dozen indictments won't put a dent in that.

First off, Biden won't be the candidate, Secondly, a straw poll from The Villages is last months talking point.

I agree Biden won't be the candidate. The fact is the DeSantis talking points are Trump can't beat "Biden". Trump is doing much better against Biden in the polls than DeSantis. Yes it's early and yes things can change. One thing that will not change is Trump will continue to poll higher against DeSantis. It's clear the nation trust Trump more to fix the issues we are facing with the economy being one of the top concerns.

Indictments against Trump are meaningless at this point because of the boy who cried wolf. The Dems inoculated Trump by going after him again and again with fake crimes and false accusations. It’s merely assumed now that any criminal complaint against him is a political attack based on partisanship rather than truth.

This is exactly what I feel like, FL Ron/Trump voters are not pleased with this current development.

No, I voted for Meatball to be a governor for 4 years, not to run against Trump. We wanted Trump to run in 2024 and Ron to finish term and then run in 2028, but it looks like I'm not voting for meatball in 2028 either given all the evidence coming out against him being a neoconservative Bush plant.

Way to frick over your career in such a short span.

Democrats dream of running against Bush in Boots. The opposition reasearch on him will be a party for CNN and MSNBC.

Maybe not 65, but definitely over 50. Mid 50s. Nobody is beating him. I have no idea why DeSanits threw away his career on this PR stunt.

It helps him in now way, shape or form and hurts him long term. What a dumbass.

Trump won’t win a general election.

Rigged voting will make sure of that.

The Trump vs DeSantis thing is the dumbest shite we’ve got going. It’s being fueled by Democrats on smooth-brained right wingers, while they sit back and laugh while they watch the infighting.

Who gives a shite. Trump or DeSantis would both give the country an infinitely much better life than a Democrat-controlled one. I’ll vote for either of them. You’re an idiot if you’re bothered by who it will end up being, or don’t vote because of it

Guy makes a lot of good points and I think DeSantis has put himself in a position now that, if he doesn't win this presidential election or at least become the nominee, he's done politically. Floridians, myself included, are not happy that just a few months ago he was "all in" on governor and now he's a presidential candidate.

That said, Trump is responsible for the division. Not only does he divide his party, but he's attempting to harm the state of FL in the process. You can't ignore Trump in all of this. And 2023 Trump is nothing like 2015 Trump. Not witty, not as sharp, completely unhinged, and hasn't learned anything at all - supports McCarthy, best friends with Graham. The man has not learned a thing. All he does is sow chaos. And his connections are no less swampy than those of DeSantis.

Who the the hell said I wouldn't vote for the republican nominee? I take it your a DeSantis baw jumping right into a Trump supporter won't vote for DeSantis B.S.

Your rant over something I did not say or would not do doesn't even make sense. You can argue that nonsense with someone else.

He may be but it will all be rigged against Trump by the alphabet organizations. The Whistleblower last week even said the DOJ and FBI won't allow Trump to be elected.

I figure they are worth 3-5 points per indictment. All he needs is a few more to lock it up.

Do you talk to folks outside of your social circle at the factory?

A shite ton of conservatives are not going to support Trump. I hear people all over say this. They know he can’t win the general. He’s too fricking old. He’s childish. Etc. They and we want to move on.

Trump needs to be a fundraiser and cheerleader. Maybe get a TV show. He doesn’t need to be running.

Trump will never be president again. What he can do is guarantee democrats remain in office, and democrats know this.
