Who is contributing to Letlow? Where does she get that money?

Individuals but she hasn't been running for a year. She had a lot less than Fleming when she got in. She had a warchest left over as did Fleming from when he ran for Senate before and came in 5th.

But Flemng bet $10 million on himself and it looks like all that he is getting is a yard sign and a T shirt

Huge unforced error at the start of early voting by the Fleming campaign. They shouldn't have shared this. I'm casting my ballot again for him tomorrow, but this was just dumb.

Agree.

Now you have Higgins and Scalise, who unlike the Governor were pretty much staying out of the race publicly, now showing full public support for Letlow. Fleming campaign honestly just as soon shut it down now, and he was my preferred choice after Miguez dropped out.

He had almost no shot to begin with after the primary results, but now, any crack he had has been closed by whatever idiot runs his social media.

Fleming had nothing to do with this

Letlow has been a political pawn for the power brokers for years. She’s a puppet.

The ad is a low blow and made it real easy for her to play victim. Pretty stupid move. So stupid that I suspect that it was done by her own camp…. Hmmmm

Dr. Jill was a big DEI supporter just like Julia.

Odd that for someone who claims to be a conservative that you’re now all in on DEI.

A huge majority voted against Julia in the primary.

Why is the fact that she is even in her position because her husband died off limits? Did she not willfully run to take his place when he died? Would she realistically ever be in congress if he had not died?
Fleming isn't making fun of her dead husband or the fact that he died.

have been supporting Letlow for one reason and that is Trump's endorsement. However, I do get angry when I see people say shite that is not true out of ignorance or on purpose.

This is in reference to Flembots on here that keep saying she was appointed to her husband's seat in Congress. He died before he was seated in the new Congress and therefore she had to run for the open seat which she won.

You can make what you want of her voting record or statements because that is on record.

You can't decide for yourself on whom to vote for? Just because trump endorsed her doesn't make her the best choice. We don't need her as senator.

Most of Louisiana can't. It's pitiful. His is an embarrassing admission.

I’m still voting Fleming. Normally I would be ecstatic to have a candidate from NorthLa, but she worries me. I am also not a fan in political positions of spouses stepping in when their husband or wife passes away. I realize she was elected, but much of the support was sympathetic. Once in, of course, it’s hard to unseat an incumbent.

Don’t care. Voted for Fleming. He will lose, and that’s fine. Par for the course for me.

Louisiana loves to elect the wrong choice. Letlow, Landry,

Letlow's group started it all by deceptively editing footage of Fleming to claim he was for bussing illegals here and then had an AI video of him bussing illegals with a Mexican Flag on the bus (clearly fake, but still...the deceptively edited video claiming he was stating something that he never was really stating was not clearly fake though). It was edited to claim a flat-out lie when they knew better. And Fleming said Landry was partially behind these videos and that Landry even tried to tie him to 911.

So while it was dumb to forward a video that mentions anything about her late husband (even though nothing negative was actually said about the husband), those bitches started it. Landry is a bitch and Letlow seems like an obvious fraud who won't debate.

This is politics now. They can't help but be pathetic.

Honestly, you don't think people voted for her out of sympathy? This is the worst deal in politics. A man was qualified and going to win but dies then people elect the dead guys wife? It is like Hillary being qualified to be president because she was married to Bill. And now we are going to attempt to make this woman a senator.

Must be some deep rooted sympathy since she has since ran for re-election twice and won with 65% of the vote in a crimson red district... Damn that sympathy!

But, that was really funny. The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round. . .

Nice to be vindicated. Been saying all year Fleming would lose and all the Fleming soldiers would pile on every time.

Maybe he’ll rally back and win governor in 2027! Or at least something along those lines would seem to be the logic of his deluded supporters. Anyway, will be nice to see this guy’s completely useless and unremarkable career in politics come to an end when he’s done as Treasurer.
