Zero chance Donald Trump takes advice or marching orders from Landry. It’s the other way around.

Trump literally knows Fleming. And Cassidy. And he endorsed Letlow.

Let's be honest, Trump saw a nice set of tits and someone who told him how great he is, that's all he needed for an endorsement.

In this whole thread I have not seen one comment on what people like about Fleming... including your response

Letlow reminds me of one of my exes.. That ended on good terms...

And she does have a decent rack, hides them well... But I'm still voting for Flemming...

Nor will you.

Fleming’s been around for years. The only reason he’s relevant in this race is due to Cassidy ripping Letlow because Trump endorsed her and she became a very serious and imminent threat to ending him.

Fleming got his Depends in a wad that Trump passed on him and pounced like an opportunist.

Obviously Fleming’s conservative. Obviously Letlow’s conservative…at this point in life with all the insanity happening around Trump does anyone really—I mean really—think he wouldn’t do his homework on who he’s endorsing for a U.S. Senate race that personally matters to him?

That’s just your take—and not a particularly strong or well-supported one.

I support Flemming for the following reasons.

1. Alignment with Trump / “America First” - He’s explicitly running against Sen. Bill Cassidy for breaking with Donald Trump (impeachment vote). Fleming frames his campaign as restoring loyalty to that agenda, criticizing Republicans he sees as not fully aligned.

2. Freedom Caucus–style conservatism - Fleming helped found the House Freedom Caucus, which signals his ideological lane: Limited federal government, Lower taxes and spending, Strong opposition to federal overreach, Hardline conservative voting record.

3. Anti-establishment / “RINO” framing - Positioning himself as the true conservative outsider (even as an insider)
Criticizing Republicans he views as insufficiently conservative RINO.

4. Conservative credentials & résumé - Physician, Military veteran, Business owner, Former congressman and Trump administration official

5. Traditional Republican policy positions - Pro-business / deregulation, Conservative social values, Skepticism of federal healthcare expansion

Fleming has also accused Jeff Landry of interfering in the race to help another candidate (Letlow), which is obviously apparent. Landry needs more puppets and Fleming is not one of them.

My take away from Letlow is “Trust the support behind me and my ability to deliver.” that's it, nothing more.

Fleming is not participating in dirty politics. I'm so fricking tired of the Letlow bashing/Cassidy bashing ads that air at every commercial break. I also think it might be a good thing that Trump didn't endorse him- we might need more people that aren't yes men.

I know he's conservative, so out of the three choices, he's the best one to me.

I didn't know he was in his 70's already- I would have guessed about 10 years younger

My assessment is that Fleming is winning the Poli Board vote. Not sure how much that translates to the standard LA voter but hopefully a good sign.

I will gladly vote for which ever one makes it to a runoff with Cassidy. I would vote for anything with an "R" behind their name over Cassidy. Julia's office has been very responsive to help with issues I have contacted her about. I will vote for her but have no problem supporting Nelson if he faces off against Cassidy.

His stances on immigration, DEI, carbon capture, oil & gas, healthcare, FISA, etc all seem to be significantly more conservative than his opponents. We all HATE Cassidy because he is a traitor. Both Letlow and Fleming have congressional records to run on. I like John’s record a little bit more than Julia’s.

In this debate, Fleming came across as much more knowledgeable, prepared, confident, and willing to speak on the issues he was being asked about. Julia came across as uncertain, stuck to talking points, and tried to pivot her responses to each question into an attack on Fleming on an unrelated issue. She seemed to be lacking in substance.

I don’t understand how any conservative could listen to this debate and choose Cassidy or Letlow over Fleming.
There arent that many conservatives in La. They think they are, but they arent.
