I am tired of voting for these dinosaurs… he is 75 yrs old. Every day on here we talk about the old folks need to be getting out of office instead of in.

I don’t understand how any conservative could listen to this debate and choose Cassidy or Letlow over Fleming.
I agree 100%, Bob!

Not saying I like the other choices better but goddamn we just keep sending in the retirees to run the country.
So, why do we have to send the widowed wife of a senator who was elected by the people, but unfortunately passed away way too soon, to Washington D.C.?
I worked as an electrician in industrial plants all my life, but if I had passed away early in my career, do you think my wife would've been called upon to inherit my position. NO!
I feel for her due to her loss but I won't let pity dictate my vote. I already voted for Fleming...and damned proud to have done so!

Can one of the Fleming sock puppets on here explain the Jeff Crouere deal - him taking government salary while allegedly not actually working? What’s all that?

Neither Fleming nor Letlow make sense to replace Cassidy
In our system, seniority matter and we have never had a better lineup than we have now from Congress to the senate
Cassidy is the best option for us

That did not happen. She was elected by the people. Sorry for your lack of knowledge here...
Her husband won a congressional seat and died before he took office. She had to run in a special election to get the seat and has twice run for re-election. She has garnered 60-70% of the vote in her district each time.

I didn't watch/listen to the debate. I'm 100% voting for Fleming. With that said I was looking through some facebook comments last night and someone commented that Julia's fiance is a lobbyist and is pro-carbon capture which is obviously a big deal. I don't know how this would be verified.
Here is a snippet on that subject from the debate:

Here is a snippet on that subject from the debate:

Letlow also said Fleming hit her with a “low blow” by noting that her fiance, Kevin Ainsworth, promotes carbon capture sequestration companies as a lawyer/lobbyist for the Jones Walker law firm in Baton Rouge. “That’s where I draw the line, John,” she told Fleming. “I would never bring your wife into this.” Fleming said his comments were fair game because, in his opinion, Letlow mischaracterized his side work for a Washington, D.C., firm. Letlow said Fleming lobbies for the McKeon Group, while Fleming said he only acts as an “adviser.” In an interview after the debate, Fleming said he earns $1,000 per month from McKeon to provide strategic advice and said he is allowed to do this work while serving as Louisiana’s treasurer.

Letlow is in over her head and only in her current seat due to the death of Luke.

Is his wife promoting companies that are opposite to his Conservative positions?
If so, it would be 100% used by Cassidy & Letlow.

Where did you get your MD, Kreg?
The University of Mississippi Medical School is in Jackson. It’s on par with the LSU HSCs in New Orleans and Shreveport.

Nah
Not even close
Without you giving goid reason why Cassidy is not the best option, you really stand on shaky ground…
So why don’t you try to give us your reasoning for why Cassidy needs to go.

He voted to convict Donald Trump on obvious false charges. I don’t need another reason.

Yes, and I don’t need another reason.

How am I “panicking”? I am voting in an election years after the fact. It’s not like I rushed out and tried to assassinate Bill Cassidy like leftists do when they don’t like a Republican.
If you had a spouse who was wonderful to you in every aspect of your marriage, but she publicly and while sober had sex with someone else without your permission in front of you and all of your friends, would you not divorce her and marry someone else? Cheating is always grounds for divorce no matter how good the rest of the relationship is.

Letlow is in over her head. Bizarre Trump endorsement is basically all she has.

Where do I begin?
Judges. Cassidy personally blocked conservative jurists from the district and appellate benches in favor of more liberal options. Professor Trahan of LSU was personally blocked by Cassidy from a 5th Circuit seat.
Healthcare. Cassidy has opposed vaccine reform and the MAHA agenda in favor of what his pharmaceutical lobbyists support.
Spending. Cassidy supported Biden’s omnibus spending bill of 2021 - the so-called Inflation Reduction Act that actually caused inflation. Cassidy also supported Biden’s Infrastructure Act which was actually the Green New Deal.
Betrayal. Last but not least, Cassidy voted to impeach President Trump after his term in office had expired which is patently unconstitutional and also a betrayal to the voters of Louisiana.

Just admit that this is your only issue
Typical trump fanboy panican rationale

No, I gave you a very comprehensive listing of all of the issues I have with Cassidy. The vote for an unconstitutional impeachment though was the last straw for most Republicans in Louisiana.
Hate to break it to you DirtyDell Cajun, but your beloved RINO is about to become extinct.
