This will be my 2nd election I will vote in.

Do people really vote for a candidate just because of a celebrity or athlete endorses or votes for a candidate?
Someone with a completely different lifestyle and life needs than they probably need themselves.

Maybe I just have a different view than the general public but I will be voting on policies and what fits my life and what policies I support and believe in the most. I don't care if people don’t like or like the candidate because that doesn’t affect me near as much as the policies they will push.

People act like it takes long to do research, someone should be able to look at policies within 30 minutes to a few hours and quickly decide what is better for them individually.

I don’t care how people vote it will not change my opinions on them I just wish the system for how it works was different and don’t even start me on how ballots and counting works that system could be so easily improved.

Added: JD Vance is extremely well spoken and sounds like a person I’d vote president for in the future. This year was the first year I’ve ever even heard of him.

By my first point on the celebrity/athletes thing and the fact that I said I don’t care if people like or don’t like my candidate selection it should give it away pretty easily.

I want housing to be cheaper as someone who wants to be able to afford a house in my 20s instead of living in an apartment.

When you get older you realize just how many stupid people there are in this country. So yes, they'll vote based on an actor, influencer or The View. And by stupid people I'm generally referring to women.

Kamala had no policy to promote.

asking questions is great

A few people suspend responsibility and let a celebrity that they think knows something about the environment or women's health make up their mind for them

its not a big number

but hopefully that number gets smaller and smaller

There are currently two types of voters, those who are captured by the Gaslight Media propaganda and take the daily Dim download and then it's those who seek the truth.

Which one are you?

Seriously, I've never cared about 99% of endorsements in a positive manner.

Now, if someone I despise endorses someone, that could affect my vote against that person.

Imagine someone voting for a person just because of their skin color or gender. They don’t even know what policy is.

Yes. Low IQ people will absolutely check the box for a candidate just because a sports figure or entertainer said to. 99 percent of the time, these figures will tell people to vote Democrat.

Many, many registered voters are painfully stupid, as are many sports figures and entertainers. Birds of a feather and such.

If you think I’m for the person I couldn’t name one thing they’ve positively accomplished for this country since they’ve been in politics then you didn’t read my post.

Sometimes. But if you really look at the celebrities endorsing candidates, most of them are has beens and trying to feel relevant again.

Yes, but it's shifted a bit. Younger people (<35) don't really identify with celebrities in the way older Millennials+ do thanks to the internet. The influence is still there, it's just different and you honestly get way more diverse opinions amongst the e-celeb group than Hollywood
