75% Chance Fed Rate Cut 25 bps December
Posted by FizzyPop on 11/24/25 at 12:08 pm
Polymarket Now up to 75% Chance Rate Cut
Things are starting to align for Trump's economic agenda starting 1/1/26. Powell is out in a couple of months, should get a number of bigger cuts starting Q2.
Almost feels like an 80's resurgence is coming and we ain't backing down. Greed is good!
Excess is better!

I think Kiffin is fully aware that LSU was in self preservation mode in 2021 fighting off those Title IX hit piece reports in Biden's first year in office where the entire world went mad with #MeeToo, BLM and Cancel Culture.
LSU was forced to hire a super safe play in 2021. Times have changed, Lane has turned around his public image and has gotten even better over the last 4 years. His offense use to be about 1 full quarter ahead of defensive coordinators playing catchup and making adjustments in the 2nd Q and halftime. Now his offense and scheme are 3 1/2 quarters ahead of a DC trying to make adjustments. By that point it's too late.

Haynes King - I asked AI and didn't get the answer I thought
Posted by FizzyPop on 11/20/25 at 3:37 pm
This blows my mind. I've watched Haynes King play at least 7 games in the last 2 seasons and the guy is a freaking stud. High IQ, can absolutely run, tough as nails, can easily go scan through progressions while climbing the pocket, and knows how to back shoulder and also throw his guys open. So this is a shock when AI told me he's probably going undrafted:
*AI Overview
"Haynes King is projected as a borderline draft pick, likely a late-round selection (Day 3, potentially the seventh round) or an undrafted free agent (UDFA) in the 2026 NFL Draft. His physical style, toughness, and football IQ are considered strong assets, but scouts have concerns about his accuracy on short passes and durability."
Does this seem right to anyone else that has followed Haynes' games at GT?

Are you thinking of Bailey’s?
Quite possibly. I visited my brother on campus in the fall of '93 and after Murphy's, he took me to that chicken hut somewhere around Lee and Highland intersection. Then it was a routine for us for another year when I would come to town, but somewhere around ''96 I remember him saying it closed but there was a new sheriff in town by the Chimes. Yeah Cane's was better sober I guess, but that other place was pretty damn good and you could clearly see this is the exact concept that Todd lifted and re-engineered,

Not really because if you were around BR and LSU in the early to mid 90's, you would know that Cane's actually stole this idea from a chicken drive-thru hut on Lee. I would argue that place was on par with Cane's, or better if consumed after 2am.
For the life of me I can't remember the name, but Todd 100% stole the concept with a targeted college students' menu only of tenders, fries, toast, sauce and drink.
ETA: My apologies for bursting the Cane's lure and bubble. IYKYK

This is just rumor, no way it's only $100k for single filers. Trump said the only exception is high income earners which for the last handful of years has been established as $400k a year adjusted gross income.

30 pages in and our resident yapper has now relegated himself to talking about state purview sales taxes. You started off in the first few pages at least understanding a little bit about interstate taxes/commerce, but now you've gotten bored with playing volleyball with your alts in this thread and have moved the goal posts to the state level. Take a lap and step away from the monitor for a few hours please.

Every damn star, asteroid, comet, 3I Atlas spaceship and anything else in the Milky Way is aligning for 2026 to be a historic moon launch. Factories coming back online, AI buildout, Data centers, jobs, Too Late Powell gone in May, and a plethora of other shite.
My advice is just hold the line baws! I've probably lost $50k or more since this govt shutdown bullshite and what's turning out to be a choppy ugly Q4, but I think brighter days are just around the corner. Wouldn't surprise me if the new FOMC chair in May calls for an emergency meeting at lowers a full 100 bps and housing starts go crazy. Hold diamond bros!

Ok so you give up this argument?
I feel sorry for you, but I appreciate getting an insight into how a Leftist brain works. You somehow convinced yourself that the only time the "No Tax on anything related to ACA" issue came up was at oral arguments in front of Scotus
 :rotflmao:
The entire ACA (hell even from the jump when it was called PPACA) was centered around No Tax to the American people. Congress went into session and both houses approved as No Tax. Even the House who controls the purse strings voted to fund because it was NO TAX.
Again, thanks for giving me an insight in the Leftist brain and how facts be damned with your lot, it's all about interpreting and bending the rules to your ideology and revisionist history m.o.

No shite there's nothing in the statute because Roberts wiped Obama's arse like you would a minority struggling in school and gave him a curve from an F to an A+. You do understand the statute was codified AFTER Scotus' ruling on ACA and not before?

You are so completely full of shite. You are just throwing spaghetti at a wall to see what sticks and try to maneuver out of this. I've become stupider for having read whatever gibberish you're trying to make stick as a red herring.

Okay, let's get your opinion on ACA since it was brought up which could give us some insight onto how Scotus will rule on tariffs in December. So I present to you that when the ACA hit Obama's desk from Congress, he signed it into law where it explicitly said the ACA subsidies, premiums, individual, employer and Cadilac plan surcharges were 100% not a tax. Then the only way for it to survive a 5-4 vote was for Roberts to say Obama probably meant to say it is a tax under the Commerce Clause. How does that square with you? Would love a leftist's view on this.
