First 1 Million Barrels of Venezuelan Crude Oil Arrive in Texas as a Free Gift to the American People
Zero cost to taxpayers. This is only the beginning of billions of barrels heading this way under the historic deal after Maduro was removed.
National Energy Dominance Council Director Jarrod Agen said, “You look at everything the President has said about Venezuela—he has been proven right.”
The arrival marks the start of the larger flow.
Less benevolent empires would have simply claimed the entirety of the Venezuelan & Iranian oil fields as their own.
Folks need to count themselves as incredibly lucky.

While our takeover of the Venezuelan oil supply is a net positive, Our takeover of Venezuelan oil doesnt add any more oil to the world supply which is why we’re not seeing an appreciable drop in the price
As for refining, I don’t see how the Venezuelan supply is going to make a difference for our refineries that are already at top capacity but there might be more knowledgeable folks around here to address that.

And we'll pay market price for gas/diesel at the pump, no net savings.

It's not free, the buyer pays the US Dept of Treasury who pays for it directing it away from the pockets of Venezuelan politicians.
We're getting oil from Venezuela all along via Chevron and Trafigura. There is also oil given at a steep discount to three Venezuelan companies that Chavez stole from. They are allowed 1 million barrels of oil per month each for up to 10 million barrels per year.

Venezuela is now producing more oil per day than they have since 2019 and we are getting to share in that.
Feckless bunch of clowns responding to any positive news.

It's the only way they can pretend Trump is as bad as they want him to be. They know deep down that their emotional overreaction is dumb. Finding a reason to complain about good news keeps them from having to deal with that reality.

These kinds of things aren't really a proper role for the federal government.
Hardly the worst things that happen, but I'm not going to be excited about it.

Need to start refilling the reserves.

I guess it’s not the type crude to replenish the SPR.

Remember when the last idiot drained the reserve? Seems smart to replace it at a discount.

frick the world supply and your One New World idealization.
America needs to put America first, refill the reserves that the Dumbocrats fricked up so that we can protect ourselves from the next invasion of illegals. We all know that’s the liberatards plan once they get back into office.

Actually trump is on pace to take out more oil reserve than Biden did
Currently
Biden 180 barrels
Trump 172 barrels less than 2 years in

It will over time. Venezuelan production had tapered off under the past two incompetent regimes. Now that western expertise is coming back, they will expand production to levels previously seen when competent western experts were in charge.

THis is just the beginning, in my opinion.
If their people elect good people, production will soar higher and faster than weve ever seen.
