The Federal Government is spending over $1,500,000,000.00 to kill 500,000 barred owls to protect a spotted owl. What gives government that right?

So the article appears to put great effort into not providing much detail the Reasons for the plan. When they do talk about one reason, it comes of as them just ignoring it and continuing on

Reminds us of the time in 2015 when the EPA tried to remediate an old mine in Colorado but ends up releasing 3-million gallons of toxic sludge.
There's no problem so big that bureaucrats can't make it worse.

It is a fact the Spotted Owl will nest elsewhere. However, the tree hugger nuts NEED the spotted owl to help them save the Old Growth Forests. Their claim is the Spotted Owl lives in the Old Growth Forests until the Barred Owl says,
“Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you all?”

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is overseen by the United States Department of the Interior. Secretary Burgum is the head of the DOI...he needs to be contacted.
