The FBI has opened a criminal investigation focusing on the massive container ship that brought down the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore last month — a probe that will look at least in part at whether the crew left the port knowing the vessel had serious systems problems, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

FBI morning of before presser: no foul play

FBI a month later: we’re investigating this

Not a real surprise that there would be a criminal investigation. Pretty reasonable expectation given what happened.

No foul play by intelligence agencies is what they meant

The FBI is now putting itself into everything in an attempt to try and appear useful. They hunted down Brady's super bowl jersey.
But if you get robbed the local cops will show up a few hours later and just write a report you can access in 2-3 weeks.
NTSB and DOT should have the floor here. That's all.

It will be determined that Donald Trump was at the helm. He was also the mechanic in charge of making sure the engines were running correctly.

That's a stretch to call it foul play. This is like when negligence turns into gross negligence. Nothing like "foul play" (Which involves intentionality)

Oh, he has far more important things to worry about than the infrastructure and transportation sector of the most industriously successful nation on Earth.

But our board Groomers said it’s “right-wing conspiracy” that criminality could be involved

It would seem like the potential criminality in question is whether or not the ship was having power issues in port and still decided to set sail even though those potential issues were not fixed yet

Would be gross negligence which led to the deaths of 6 people which could catch someone (the captain if not the whole crew) a manslaughter charge

So why are these two posing in a hospital bed? Feigning child birth?

That's from the height of our Covid transportation logistics crisis, when Buttplug went on "Maternity leave" to stay home with his husband after adopting their newborn baby.

I seriously pray to GOD that this doesn't occur, but the likelihood of that poor baby growing up to have serious mental health issues is very, very probable.

I think that you're most likely correct. What I don't understand is why they are so quick to dismiss foul play. They have to know that doing that only feeds the "conspiracy theory" fire. It seems the correct approach would have been to say that there will be an investigation either way, then let the investigation occur before making a statement one way or another.
