The agency has said that it has “significant concerns” with how the ratings system operates, with a lot of content that is meant for adults now being rated as appropriate for children.
When asked about the feedback the agency has received, Carr described that the ratings system was first created at a time when there was a lot of “violent programming.”
He told Breitbart News, “If you go back, Congress passed a law because they wanted parents to be informed about the types of TV programming that their children get. And, at the time there was a lot of focus on violent programming, but the rating system was designed to cover a lot of different issues that parents care about, and increasingly there had been concern raised about some of the transgender content that has been put in children’s television programming.”
He added, “So, one of the ideas that’s been raised is, ‘Should the TV ratings board start to include labels that identify that type of programming and children’s programming, pursuant to the law and the framework that Congress passed?'”

Let’s not bend. This tranny/gender dysphoria shite has no place in children’s shows, so let’s not demand a rating or warning. The content shouldn’t be there to begin with.

The "smoking" warnings always crack me up. Oh my God, Tommy on Landman smokes. Can't watch that.

That is my favorite on Euphoria. But they don’t put the same warning for illicit drug use.
Some HBO Max programs should also have a disclaimer for Same Sex Situations, they do have a disclaimer for Sexual Situations or Strong Sexual Situations, adding Same Sex Situations could set you up knowing that two men are going to start going railing each others backsides at some point like in Heated Rivalry.

I guess we have, but it wasn't deliberate. There was just less and less that interested us.
A decade ago we only watched a handful of network tv series. For the last ten years we have just watched one. We were done with big three network news 30 years ago. We watched fox news, but dropped them during covid. We dropped local news when they stopped reporting local news in favor of rebroadcasting national news.
The only time a local channel is on is when we have a bad storm in the area.
The unexpected bonus from our gradual withdrawal is lower rate political advertisements. This primary, the only ads I saw were for my US Senate primary. No one else down stream.
