Some recency bias, but during the DNC Primaries* he was one of the only people calling out Biden & Son flying AF2 to Beijing to make a deal with the bank of fricking China.
In 500 times more detail & reality than anything the MSM tried to tie Trump to anything.

Women farding in their cars. He got tired of pulling up behind women farding in their cars. That got a lot of responses till he explained farding was applying make-up.
His commie babe make-up artist.
His TV show. It had some brilliant clips. I remember the clip with the secret service men with their Gore detectors after Al Gore got lost in the woods.
Femi-nazis.

Rush would put a condom over his microphone to practice “safe talk.”

The show years ago when Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell from Leave it to Beaver) called-in. That was a really special call. Must have been sometime in the 90s, I'm guessing.

My favorite Rush moment had nothing to do with radio. He was the marshal of the Bacchus Parade for Mardi Gras in (I think) 1992. The following Tuesday, he was a guest riding in the Rex parade, rear of float #17. When that float came by the spot our band had set up on Claiborne between Napoleon and Gen Pershing we started playing the bass line from his theme by The Pretenders. He started wiggling and dancing and no mask could hide who he was at that point. He threw a cup to us and I was lucky enough to be the one who caught it. I still have it, and I still remember looking him in the eyes when he threw it to us.
He made that Mardi Gras my most memorable in my lifetime. It's appropriate that he held on long enough to see this Ash Wednesday's dawn. He always loved New Orleans and the people there. Of course, it was a bit different thirty years ago.
Rest peacefully, Maha Rushdee. We'll hold the fort down in your absence, my friend.

Impossible to recall or crate a small list of them because they were often. I'll put a few of the older ones from the beginning years.
^^^Do you "Fard" He said it's ok to FARD in public. Then came the definition after an hour or so. Putting on makeup in public.
^^^^Why is it bad to feed the dolphins off the coast. Then tied it in to giving free stuff to people, they'll never learn to feed themselves.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but his 2009 CPAC speech stuck with me. It was one of the most inspirational speeches for conservatism ever made.

I remember watching this and was a much needed speech.
Don't forget about Operation Chaos in the Dem primaries of 2008.
My high school guidance counsellor would listen to Rush in his office all the time. I'd listen at home during the summer. Mother never approved but I didn't give a shite then.
I am going down an Andrew Breitbart wormhole tonight and came across this segment Rush did after Andrew's death. Interesting, but not surprising, that Rush played a part in Andrew's conversion from westcoast default lib to conservative media iconist.
YT
FWIW, Breitbart commandeering of Anthony Weiner's press event to get ahead of the dick pic fallout is what started this and deserves a look.
YT
Both Rush and Breitbart were GOATs in their own right. While Rush's time was cut short, Breitbart's was cut way short (and I suspect there are some swamp rats with poison dart guns that could elaborate).

Here's what it looked like.
How's that for an airport souvenir?
