Per my link in my post above DNA has proven that blue eyed people existed in Israel 6,500 years ago.

Never been in a church that had blue eyed Jesus pictures.

Your outrage is noted.

Nobody has said he was. Only that he very likely looks more like Farrakhan than the false images we see in public.

Is this really the sword you want to fall on? Really? No one said Jesus was a blue eyed, blonde hair white man. You just threw that out there for no reason.

It’s an unnecessary digression, but yes, Jesus looked and dressed how a Jew would at that time which means he had short hair and wore pants, not long hair and robes. But he didn’t look anymore like Farrakhan, either.

The sad part is, a ton of his stupid followers will actually still support this racist old fool.

Never mind that Elijah Muhammad, the founder of NOI, never made that claim (he claimed that Wallace Fard Muhammad aka Wallace D Fard was such).

And this sets them up against traditional Islam which considers any such claim (by Farrakhan, Fard, or Jesus) to be blasphemous.

Jesus very likely looked more like an Arab from Northern Africa than a white guy from California.

Link to that info? Pretty sure first century Jews wore tunics, and there are many references to robes in the Bible.

Robes were outer garments.

The priest here is wearing robes, but since they didn’t reach past their thighs and were outer garments he had to wear pants(“Breeches” in the Bible are pants, aka britches):

“And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:” – Exodus 28:42

More references:

And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons, And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,” – Exodus 39:27,28

“And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.” – Leviticus 6:10

He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.” – Leviticus 16:4

Hundreds of years after these events, they were still wearing pants:

They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.” – Ezekiel 44:18

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are also specifically mentioned as having worn pants:

“Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.” – Daniel 3:21

In the Bible you may also see the phrase “gird up your loins”. You can only gird up your loins if you are wearing some sort of pants. In Job it specifically says “gird up your loins like a man”, because the men wore pants.

Since there is no indication that changed in the new testament, and since Jesus looked like the working men he hung around, I think he probably wore pants. The Bible also warns of people wearing long flowing garments for show.

Also, consider this verse:

“And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” – Revelation 19:16

If you are wearing a tunic, the thigh isn’t really delineated, but they are if you’re wearing pants.
