This is why I've always referrrd to "Political Correctness" as a phony, agenda-driven concept. PC was never introduced to combat "man's inhumanity to man," or to try and create a more civil society. It was concocted in an attempt to codify certain people and groups as inherently good, and other people and groups as inherently bad.
Generally speaking:
1) Women good; Men bad.
2) People of Color Good, White people bad.
3) Christians bad; All other belief-systems, including atheism, good.
4) The Political Left is good; The Political Right is bad.
5) Coastal elites good; Southerners bad.
6) Gays/Lesbians good; Anybody who considers that lifestyle to be deviant is bad.
Etc, etc.
Like I've always said, Political Correctness was never anything other than a phony, agenda-driven hoax.

I always refer to myself as an "evil white male" since that is what society teaches. My wife actually thinks it is funny. My liberal daughter does not.
