There is nothing Israel can do short of committing state suicide that would call cause its enemies to quit hating it. I can only imagine what it would look like if Israel’s opponents were judge as harshly for their misdeeds. With that said, it doesn’t mean that everything Israel does is right or well advised. Even within Israel, they argue bitterly over settlements and the appropriate strategy to confront groups like Hezbollah, which are sworn to its destruction.

Anti-Israel sentiment has been shifting hard over recent years and probably accelerated due to this stuff among folks on the right. Folks on the left have been headed that way for years now. Pointing that out doesn't mean someone swallowed propaganda. It means they're noticing a trend and reporting on it.

What a dishonest thing to say! Hezbollah is constantly bombing Israel. There have been dozens of times that ceasefires have been reached yet Hezbollah continues to lob artillery at Israelis. Eventually Israel retaliates.

With as much money as we have given them for their defense over the years you would think that we would have told them somewhere along the way, "look, if you guys want to keep waging war on your neighbors you need to use some of this money to provide yourselves a way of transporting your troops."
