I don’t think the actual left is concerned with this thought. Liberals are obsessed with credentialism. Lefties probably would love an outsider. The glommed onto Bernie simply because he wasn’t a Democrat.

He has a pretty good career going on and if he ran for President he would instantly destroy it. 1/2 the “Democrat” party will hate his guts and there would be zero path for him to be competitive in a presidential race against JD Vance because half the Democrat party is now communists.

Stephen A Smith would be better than any candidate they ran in the last 3 elections. He's far too moderate to stand a chance though which says a lot about why the Democrats are so unpopular currently.

He is way more qualified than Harris or Biden, plus he lies like a politician. He will get at least 5% of the vote.
