Hopefully DOGE can prevent this. I think we are getting close to the point of no return.

Stop giving away money, negotiate debt and pay the people. Pretty easy fix in my opinion

Imagine the trillions of dollars we've wasted on obsolete jets when $10k drones will be the future

It cannot. Not enough meat on the bone.

Notice he says "de facto".

The reason he says this is because money is bullshite as long as the FED is around. Remember, we aren't on the gold standard. We print money to keep us out of debt (frick the Americans who work and get their dollar devalued every time they do). And the best part is, nobody can say boo as long as we are the strongest militaries out there. Our fighting force is our gold standard. That is why it is so important to them that Ukraine "wins" with our backing. If Ukraine loses with our backing it will weaken the dollar because our might vs BRICS would be diminished.

For your consumption.

"Negotiate debt"? Guess biden pardoning millions in student loans is not part of this plan? And kamala should be one of the "experts " Musk hires?

Negotiate debt is in relation to trade and what we owe. If China doesn’t want tariffs they can wipe out some of the debt over the years we owe and we can back off some percentage of tariff. Apply this globally you could clear up a lot. Tariffs are good because companies will come here which makes it easier on consumers but hurts other countries. It can also be used as negotiating

Yes we should be negotiating global debt owed.

We are already bankrupt.

Both morally and financially.

Can you imagine if Xi Jinping told Trump would he like to experience another Coronavirus in his 2nd term. I would love to be in the room for that conversation

Every time we print it’s de facto bankruptcy.

I'll leave the moral debate to others, but correct on the latter. We were financially bankrupted (at least) a dozen or so yrs ago when the Federal Reserve fatally compromised their own balance sheet. Few people will figure it out because it ends with upheaval that looks like something else. But the point of no return has been passed.

The ironic thing here is we’ve elected the very people who shouldn’t be anywhere around our tax money.

If we become a bankrupt nation, will be hard for elon to get potential subsidies for his various ventures. I'm not being snide. Musk is pretty much the only one I'd want my tax dollars going to. He's one of the few who is trying to bring us into the future. He's an African American treasure.

Elon is right. This level of debt is unsustainable. Thank God the adults will be back in charge 1/20/25.

Didn’t our debt go from 19 to 27/28 trillion when Trump was in office..

Appears it does not matter which party is in anymore
