Negotiate debt is in relation to trade and what we owe. If China doesn’t want tariffs they can wipe out some of the debt over the years we owe and we can back off some percentage of tariff. Apply this globally you could clear up a lot. Tariffs are good because companies will come here which makes it easier on consumers but hurts other countries. It can also be used as negotiating

Yes we should be negotiating global debt owed.

29% of the debt is foreign owned. About half of that is owed by foreign governments.

Can you imagine if Xi Jinping told Trump would he like to experience another Coronavirus in his 2nd term. I would love to be in the room for that conversation

Xi's not that dumb, I can imagine both Trump & Xi offering much worse than Covid 2.0

The electorate is addicted to government programs to the point of preferring to elect enablers. We've indoctrinated generations to now believe that being on public assistance is okay (ie: it's okay to be on it for as long as you like, not something so shameful that you should bust your arse to get off of it). It's going to take generations to revert that mindset back to common sense self-reliance, but that's first going to require changing the philosophy of the education sector (which will likely take at least a generation itself).
This. People even refer to SS as “my money”. The only thing I disagree with is fixing it in a couple of generations. We don’t have that long. It’s already too late to fix.

Politicians arent getting re-elected cutting SS, Medicaid and Military spending.

This! Term limits are the problem. Why would a Congressman LET YOU take money from his district. I don't care how America 1st these people claim to be. Their goal is to get reelected.
