Yesterday, after Tucker announces his new show would be on Twitter, the left was crying about Musk turning Twitter into a right-wing echo chamber.

Will they backtrack once they realize Elon is trying to hold true to his word to make Twitter a place for all ideas?

quote:

Elon Musk invited Don Lemon — who last month was fired from CNN following a string of gaffes as co-host of “CNN This Morning” — to revive his career by launching a show on Twitter.

“Have you considered doing your show on this platform? Maybe worth a try,” Musk wrote early Wednesday morning in reply to Lemon’s fiery tweet posted on April 24, the day he was let go from CNN.

“Audience is much bigger,” Musk added.

As of midday Wednesday, Lemon — who had tweeted last month that he was blindsided by the news of his firing just hours after his final broadcast — had not replied to Musk.

A rep for Lemon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It's a setup to see Don fail.

Yea that's not saying much considering CNN has to pay airports to actually air their programming

Very much in support.

Let people see Don Lemon, and then see Tucker

Social media companies had a much heralded “pivot to video” a few years back and, well, it didn’t really catch. Best of luck. Maybe it will catch one day.

Lemon probably would get more views on Twitter than he did on CNN. But that's not saying much.

He will crow about Twitter being evil, but the real reason he won't produce content is because he knows it wouldn't be very popular. And that subscriber model won't be very lucrative for him.

Musk getting Tucker on Twitter is so huge for both Tucker and Twitter. It also helps Twitter transform into a whole new platform.

If Lemon had any brains he'd join as well. I don't think he has the cachet to start his own network yet, but being authentic on Twitter does give him the chance to grow and prove he's more than a CNN parrot.

Do you mean Facebook trying to produce its own content or when Yahoo tried it? They both failed because the content was garbage. All Facebook original programming was pure junk and Yahoo tried to make headways by buying a 5th season of Community but had literally nothing else of value.

Solid move.

I disagree with Lemon on most things but he doesn't need to be silenced.

Agreed, he is the poster boy for the unhinged, racist progressives. Let him showcase this for the world. You need to see the other side for yourself to fully understand the depravity

Stupid move by Musk. Lemon has no credibility and no following. He would actually bring discredit to Twitter.

Yep, I don't want the media forcing or repressing ideology. Expose it all evenly and let people decide for themselves.

The left: Elon it’s not fair! You must give us the same consideration!

Elon: if you wish to have the rope with which you will hang yourselves... be my guest.

What

Musk isn’t hiring Lemon or Tucker. He’s not paying them. He’s telling them they should do their shows on Twitter.

Are you in favor of Musk censoring Lemon and stopping him from doing so?
