Elon Musk agrees to go ahead with $44 billion Twitter deal

Wonder if a political play from Musk… worried litigation would drag out past elections and wants control over Twitter immediately to open it up.

I'm not on twitter and didn't realize how invested people were in keeping it filtered until Elon talked about buying it. They still have Facebook and most of the media; I don't think an open twitter is going to be some sort of seismic shift.
