I don’t really post on Twitter so I’ve never had that problem. That’s not what I use it for.

I don't really care if he owns it as long as you can continue to curate your own feed, which is what I like...I follow financial/biz info and no politics, though it does bleed over occasionally.
That thread was just people rooting for Musk and not acknowledging the facts and the facts of the contract.

I have come around to the fact he waived due diligence. I still don’t think that vitiates fraud or material misstatements. I think he got tired of trying to get info through discovery. Decided he wasn’t paying too much of a premium. Close the deal, get the info himself and if there was material misrepresentations he goes after the board or the escrow if there is one.

The US government will not allow him to ruin it. Twitter survives because the US government supplies the server space and physical infrastructure. In return the government gets twitter data. It will never fail and will grow bigger with the everything app and continued US government support.

I mean between Tesla and Space X he had grown a large sum of his fortune from the federal and state governments. Tesla wouldn't exist without department of energy loans. People tend to forget that when they whine about failures like Solyndra. I'd take one Tesla for every 5 failed solyndras and call that a win
