Elon must just like wasting money in legal fees.
First he wasted money trying to get out of the deal.
Now this will surely end up litigated or mediated in sone way.
Us not liking what these employees did, and the employees violating their employment contracts, are two different things.
Also in the business world… all employees are fired for cause. Otherwise it’s called a lay off.
Those parachutes likely vested the moment Elon’s ink dried on the purchase agreement. He then fired the execs. Meaning he now wants to take away something that has been already “earned”.
This is not the first takeover and dump of management in corporate America.

I don't use Twitter, but how is Twitter worth so much that Musk would pay that much for it and CEO's making that much money there?

This isn’t football coaching. A “for cause” firing isn’t voiding the money they are owed from shares
It's going to do whatever the contract says it's going to do.

You are melting down in this thread.
It's funny to see.

There is absolutely no way they are just going to lick their wounds and not take their buyout. Zero
You don't understand business do you??
Elon will absolutely pants them with all the info he has on their unethical activities he'll spend a few hundred million in courts and everything they've done will become public in discovery. So they'd have to spend a ton of money to TRY to get their parachutes back....so yeah.....Elon knows exactly what he's doing

mean, they are going to sue him for it
Which will open up discovery and Musk can reveal all the crap they did

to get their parachutes back

If the shares aren't transferred to them beforehand, they don't own them, they were just owed them at a particular time. If for cause can clip that, then yes, they are screwed.
You an i do not know details, obviously. So saying for certain one way or another would be ignorant

This response is so cringe man. You have to be able to see why you are catching flak for your original responses in this thread.

I’m getting flak because people want to live in fantasy world that these Twitter officers are walking away with nothing

Yeah, they did. They’ve been lying about the code for years. Vijaya specifically will be very lucky to not go to jail and for life at that. They’d be very wise not to sue Elon over this because they should all be in fricking jail and just go home and lick their wounds.
I know you weren’t born yesterday. Nobody will go to jail over this.

Roger let’s just make this board happy one way or the other. Ban bet on whether or not the officers walk away with millions
