Ticket Question - sig3197
I have only ever been to one Saints game. Trying to last minute put something together to bring my wife and 3 kids to this weekend's game vs the Falcons. This would be the kid's first. Any recommendations on where to find reasonably priced tickets? Is it possible to find 5 outside the stadium on gam...

re: What do you fans know about Lindsley Scott? - sig3197
All of LSU's recent qb's have turned out to be "mid-tier flyer's", at best. Probably says something about his QB talent if Miles doesn't want him. ...

I think it is so the umpires can see their hands reach the bag when sliding head first into the base. ...

re: If you were starting over - sig3197
Central PC and a couple Laptops is reasonable. We have ipads and mini ipad individually so laptop wouldn't be necessary. One central powerful PC would probably be a better fit the more i think about it. I like the idea of the PC being a hub/media server so to speak. It would be able to connect to th...

Probably more in line with a family PC than each having their own right now. May be an option in a couple years though....

Budget - $3,000-$6,000 (maybe a little more) Primary uses - basic office type applications, word, excel, powerpoint, etc. In addition, tons of pics and videos of kid's. Some basic photo/video editing type stuff possibly. The kids will use for more and more school related stuff as 2 already have p...

If you were starting over - sig3197
If you were starting over and completely upgrading a home office/family set up, what would be your basics? Hardware, software, etc. Two working professionals with 3 elementary school age kids that will utilize for school projects etc. Open to all operating systems. Any help much appreciated!...

re: Travel teams eroding community baseball - sig3197
I agree with the article. However, i disagree with the opinions that all travel ball is bad. I think there are many cases, as others have discussed, where kids are being ruined. When i was a kid arguments are great for recalling our child hood memories, but there are a lot of things about "today" th...

re: West Monroe Head Baseball coach resigned today - sig3197
The WM situation looks like the boosters wanted their boy Schexnaider back and Blankenship was in the way. I saw the article where the principal said it was Blankenship's decision to resign, but this just doesn't seem to be that way. High School sports is out of control! How long before Shake is anno...

re: LHSAA convention... playoffs remain watered down - sig3197
I think the biggest question would be the regular game schedule not the playoffs. Some areas would have a hard time putting together a full schedule of non-select teams without having to significantly increase travel. I think logistically it will be harder than people think....

all this talk about watering down, etc. I dont see why more people arent advocating to do away with classifications and only have 1 true champion. I mean that's what we want right, 1 champion. ...

She carried the torch for Kenny Henderson. If the rest of the state didn't want it and she was the only one then why in the heck did they vote to pass it? The piling on of her is comical. I don't like the split but this is funny how everyone wants to blame one person for something that a bunch of ot...
By definition this mean they weren't one of the two best teams in the State which means they had NO business playing for a State championship.
Why have different classes? Why not have everybody play in one division and that way we can have a true champion....
