Why are the diseases that killed people in the Americas more of a tragedy than the same diseases that killed Europeans and Asians in prior generations.
All indigenous people (Earthlings) were inevitably going to catch these diseases and would have to develop immunity.
People in the Americas were simply one of the last groups to have to face the inevitable before becoming a civilized nation .
Didn’t Asians colonize the Americas before the Europeans joined them?
