Its never the machine its the people who control the machine.
Just like red light cameras cities ended up abusing them by lowering the time by fractions to increase revenue. This is documented.
Now what do you suppose rogue law enforcement would use Flock for when some officer needs to impress his bosses on arrests for his upcoming evaluation.
Everyone breaks laws but a majority are very minor ones. J walking or spitting on sidewalk or many other minor things. Flock is going to capture that.
But it can see so much more. Lets say a crime happened and detectives show up at your house because your car was seen in the area. Now they want you to explain why you were there when you just drove by.
Its infringement that needs to be stopped because everything is always abused.

Those that give you liberty for safety deserve neither.
The cameras are subject to abuse and if anything they should be city/county/ state run not by a private company. Also most of these cameras don’t meet the road side safety that guard rails and other signs meet.

Let’s say a cop who was a bit nerdy in high school always carried a torch for your wife, and on a slow day decides to look up, now that he’s got some power and is a man in uniform thinks he’s finally ready to act on those feelings. He now has the ability to see everywhere her car goes. The routes from your house to drop the kids off at school to work to her favorite places to grab a cocktail.
They “randomly” bump into each other, but she turns him down because she’s married to you. Now he sees you as a problem to get rid of, so he tracks your routes. He decides that the cops should set up speed traps along your normal route. You get popped for a speeding ticket, but he throws on some extra stuff for giving him lip. Maybe K-9 units are used to check for drug residue. Your life becomes a hellscape of cop harassment because one dude thinks he deserves your wife.
Now you may have a case about harassment and everything else, but you’ve got to get through all that, pay a lawyer, and have a target on your back till you move to a new city, all because some guy with a badge got bored while daydreaming, but he had an ability to act on it.

Maybe today.
But two things about that:
1. This country wasn't founded on the principle of, "Government overreach is o.k. as long as it doesn't seem to impact your daily life." That has never been our standard.
2. If you're going to deny that the potential for egregious abuse is there, regardless of whether you think it's being actively abused today, you're kind of a dullard, aren't you?

A government who has the ability to track anyone almost anywhere should be greatly feared.

Just wait until flock gets hacked by someone, right now the abuse is happening at cop level but you know a breach is going to happen, hopefully it’s someone that is good wants to just delete their data. However, that isn’t likely and all this data will be all over.

This is the correct answer.

The Nazis managed to do a lot without having flock cameras, imagine them if they had this tech.

not much different then stopping anyone walking down the street and asking to "see their papers"
not much different then putting up a road block check point and asking to see the drivers license of each driver before they can pass......
Not much different then forcing the cell phone companies to give "geo-fence" data to check activities to find a potential perp (note: supreme court just ruled this unconstitutional)

So they know who I am? OK. I fail to see the issue.....but I dont commit crimes.
I understand the problem with the constitution though, and do not want that violated.

Patriots are out there
The irony, asking for the public to help identify someone, when the very camera they destroyed was made for doing that

Wow. What a loser mentality. Let's just sit back, do and say nothing about our constitutional rights are violated.
Not too mention how this information could be used in the future as AI becomes more powerful and present in our systems.

They are hackable via andriod platform.
The cameras have IPs as they connect to 5g network and once you get into the camera you work into the database and you are then inside the whole database.
Flock sells your data even to nonPolice entities. You can opt out of their little game but good luck.
