Yeah, because screw being even quasi-accurate with what you say your concerns are. And even if anybody bought the mental gymnastics required to absolve BLM of their hypocrisy, it would still leave a pretty damned big question: When it comes to the thousands of black lives killed by other blacks as opposed to the handful killed by police, who is "handling that?"
Because they suck at it.

Kind of makes black lives matter a complete joke. It's like creating an organization to bring awareness to the dangers of boulders falling on Honda Civic's. They happen just as much.

If the organization was formed to combat police brutality then they should have named themselves Blacks Against Cops or something similar. If you're going to be Black Lives Matter, you don't get to ignore the single greatest source of violence against black people. Other black people. Twenty-ish people killed a year versus 8000 homicides a year. Which is more harmful to black lives?

He needs to read the Black Lives Matter website and he will find that they reference being responsible for all black lives, and that they absolutely should be marching upon Chicago and other urban areas where black lives are being killed by other blacks.
Not doing so strips them of any credibility moving forward.

Imo, gang violence has always been one of the worst things in our society. But, no one really talks about it lately, because those that do talk about it are called racist.
