taking over most of Greenland would just be like adding more villages from the NW and Northern part of Alaska. Would be a lot of native villages and what not that could probably be pretty integrated into Bureau of Indian Affairs and Department of Interior pretty easily.

I don’t think it would happen, but the US purchasing Greenland would be a bigger deal than Alaska or Hawaii. It would cement Trump as one of the most eventful Presidents in history.

I would put it on par with Alaska. You know for the longest time that was called Seward's Folly. I imagine similar things would be said after some time about Trump if he were to purchase Greenland.
Hawaii was an inside job to revolt over the Native Hawaiian kingdom during a time of imperialism for America (and the world) so that's a bit different

Legend has it the vikings loved Iceland, they had discovered both, Greenland was the first in the passage. So they named it Greenland and when others landed on that block of ice, they thought....if this is Greenland, no way am I wasting time traveling to Iceland.
