Get in line for your short barreled shotgun. Need a suppressor or a short barreled rifle? Go get you one of those too. Before long, the NFA will not exist as well.
Times are good, real good.
DOJ just ended 9 decades of NFA nonsense!!

Republican Georgia Rep. Andrew Clyde posted on X Wednesday that the Trump administration confirmed it would not appeal a ruling by United States District Judge James Wesley Hendrix of the Northern District of Texas, a Trump appointee, granting a motion for summary judgement from attorneys representing the Silencer Shop Foundation in a 66-page opinion issued August 5. Hendrix ruled that since taxes on suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns and other items had been reduced to $0 by legislation signed by President Donald Trump in July 2025, the registration and paperwork imposed by the NFA exceeded Congress’ authority under the taxation power.

Why should I get one now? All of my guns got lost in a lake. Pity.

I would take advantage of this is I were a gun owner. Definitely not a gun owner!

Common use is about to give Americans what they have been missing for almost 90 years!!

unless I am missing something, it is limited to that district, and the plaintiffs in the case.

Another positive contribution from this administration. Are we allowed to say this yet, or are we still pretending everything is bad because of Iran?

I used to have a .22 rifle with a threaded bull barrel. I think I should get a suppressor just in case I ever find it

I know someone that tried to buy a 9, .22, and 5.56 suppressor the next day, he was told by the company that sells them that its silencer shop specific and that he still needed to get finger printed and do the wait.
Gun stores are afraid of losing their FFL. So they are still making everyone do the same thing. It’s not the win we were initially told it was.

Sweet. I’ll shoot my dinner since groceries are to expensive to buy anymore.

If Trump's admin really is pro 2A, we should get some guidance from the ATF soon on this.

Precedent set. Now suits can be filed in other districts and eventually the ATF will have to eliminate the rule

No, unfortunately, they didn't. This is specific to suppressors. But... It's a first step. And ANY steps we make against the NFA and GCA are steps in the right direction.
Because sadly, so sadly... The courts just don't understand the meaning of "Shall not be infringed" and "unconstitutional".

Remember when Trump outlawed bump stocks by executive fiat? I was pretty pissed off.
But now we can have FRTs and suppressors without unconstitutional burden so I kind of forgive him now, even though he is beholden to the Jews and their spies to attack countries we have no business dealing with.
