It’s because we are winning bigly

You get it. I get it. Many get it.

The street stooges still don't get it. They still watch Fake Jake or Oprah Pimpfrey's little gal pal, and their OMB meter registers higher than a hot Summer day in Arizona.

Doge said they’d cut $2T per year from the budget, that was like 90 days ago.

Now they’re saying $150B and only have actual receipts for $60 ish and they think they’ll find 90 more.

Have there been any other initiatives resulting in $150B budget cuts in recent years? Or even $60B?

Rome wasn't built in a day and it also wasn't full of corruption trying to cut it down at every step

So we agree, calling it a massive success (at this point) is comedy.

Do you have the Doge statement handy that said they were going to cut 2 trillion?

If they said that I’d say they shouldn’t have said that seeing as how they are able to make any cuts and democrats don’t want the cuts anyway.

I’m on my phone but Doge/Elon said it on the campaign trial multiple times. It’s not hard to find.

To be fair, Bessent said $1T (after the election, conveniently) was the goal. Still nowhere near reality but obviously a better guess.

This is thread is a masturbatory feast for the TDS set. They desperately hope the admin fails because their being "right" on the internet is more important than the fate of the country.

I wish just one would tell us their plan for cleaning out the rot.

If trump was on the right track it would be a much different thread of all his accomplishments. But yes we're all the problem pointing out how bad it's going....

You can still like doge but calling it a “massive” success is wild.

American manufacturers are being severely harmed by these tariff games. Just simply looking for a list of what this has all accomplished isn’t TDS - why is hardcore MAGA such wet noodles.

Let’s start by being truthful and acknowledging that everyone in the world knew that increasing Tariffs would cause 12-18 months of instability. Of course that includes every phase of products being produced.

To say otherwise is flat out misleading. The tariffs intent is to bring our trade partners to the table to make trade free or equitable. Countries that are unwilling to budge will be hurt worse than the US will be.

In fact this is such a popular idea that Obama was all for an increase in tariffs as well. So was nearly every single democrat in Washington. They recognized it back then and didn’t do anything.

As far as DOGE is concerned, yes they have over promised. But they are also still delivering on that promise, while fighting the liberal side of the court system preventing certain needed measures.

It has only been a few months.

Lets see where we are at in 8 years after 4 years of trump and 4 years of Vance.

Its not like the democrats have some vision from the future, so anything they say may be safely disregarded.

At this rate, the best that Vance will do is hopefully some consulting job.

Doge claimed they were going to cut wasteful spending and/or fraud (or “both”), to the tune of $2T of the annual budget.

In the very beginning Musk said that, but they quickly settled on $1 trillion. And they have been consistent on that.

I wish either of these shitty parties had any semblance of a moral compass. fricking Republicans cheering for taxes and trade wars like 80’s era Democrats makes me fricking sick.

If you believe tariffs have been a success up to this point you are beyond saving. Your brain is rotted by politics beyond any recognition to its pre-Trump form.

Crazy I just bought lithium ion batteries and the price was an all time low and I've been looking at buying them for years. I just bought 2 36v50Ah trolling motors for $320 dollars a piece. Those same batteries were $700 a piece six months ago.

I remember seeing that. But, I knew they were spitballin. The Lawfare to slow it down for the midterms has caused problems. I expect the momentum to start rolling. The Dems have had a lot of time to set this up, so it won’t happen over night.
