Maine is obviously the yankiest of the yankee states. (There's a difference between Marxo-Commie libtards in NYC, Boston, Philly, and Newark .... and Maine yankees.)

Maine yankees and Connecticut yankees are very strange people.

Will Collins, knowing her, come out and rebuff DJT's endorsement.

Does it hurt her or help her in Maine?

We must assume that she asked for it, right?

It's an interesting political dynamic.

The governor bailed as soon as her brother’s shady business dealings with illicit Chinese marijuana farms came to light.

"She's a sane woman and she's a respected person."

Yeah, that's about as much of a hold-your-nose type of endorsement you can give for a RINO like Susan Collins.

Stephen King calls other people Nazis while voting for a Nazi.

So she didn't ask for it ... probably doesn't want it?

But ... that doesn't make sense.

Trump didn't do it randomly. Her people had to have spoken with his people.

The Senate majority could hinge, literally, on Collins and Maine.

This is no small thing. It's one of the more consequential races in the past 50 years, or more, imho. I suspect a lot of politicos would agree.

Not the least of which is because, if libtards take The House the first thing they're going to try to do is to impeach DJT.

That makes this move all the more of a conundrum.

It either hurts or helps Collins, one or the other. It's not an inconsequential, vanity endorsement.

He didn't do it thinking it ups his endorsement percentage. It's a big risk for him as well.

His endorsement record is pretty solid.

I don’t think Trump’s endorsement helps her.

BUT.

Him bringing up all of her opponent’s issues helps get info across about his problems.

I believe she asked for it for a reason.

In the 2024 presidential election, Maine split its electoral votes: Kamala Harris won the statewide popular vote and the 1st Congressional District, securing 3 electoral votes, while Donald Trump won the 2nd Congressional District, earning 1 electoral vote.

Harris received 52.4% of the statewide vote (435,652 votes), compared to Trump's 45.5% (377,977 votes).  This marked the third consecutive election in which Maine divided its electoral votes between the two major party candidates.

Harris's victory in Maine continued the state's streak of voting for the Democratic presidential candidate since 1992.

Trump carried the more rural 2nd District, as he did in 2016 and 2020.

I think it helps, but I am just disappointed that Collins ran unopposed in the GOP Primary.

Maine Yankees as you say are a cold hardy version of coonass bunch of Hebert’s and Brousards, driving pickup trucks and running lobster boats. They are inundated with the locust like Mass-hole.

Oh Boy ! These lilly white morons in Maine have no idea what would be in store for them if they were ruled by a real Nazi (democrat/Marxist/Communist), see the Karmelo Anthony supporters. The dumbasses of Maine are just as foolish as the white interlopers in Minnesota (Stockholhm Syndrome).

She is going to win regardless. For some reason she always seems to win.

She was written off as dead last election when she actually had a sane, formidable and well like opponent. She NEVER led in a single poll and ended up winning by 9 pts. Talk is that all the stuff that is coming out now is from democrats who were trying to force him out and that the Republicans have much more that they were holding back on releasing until he was the nominee.

If she had been opposed, and beaten, by a more reliable republican than we would definitely have a democrat senator from Maine next year. You, and a lot of conservatives, don’t realize or deserve the treasure you have in Susan Collins. She votes against us about 35% of the time to prevent that seat from voting against us 95% of the time. Plus, and more importantly, she caucuses with the republicans helping that party to control the senate.

I wish we could get someone better out of Maine, but she's the most conservative that state will ever go.
