To be fair, we didn't hear about this story because we don't here about every single one off murder around the country unless it is a black person killed by a white person

and then we'll hear of every single one and be shown the video repeatedly from every available angle and in slow motion

I found a story out there - it said they were acquaintances and that he lived near her.

We heard about Ralph Yarl for a week straight. He wasn’t even killed. He was shot by a white man. Ralph is black. Ralph lived. He’s fine. But it was a huge news story for the same reason this is not.

We’re missing a big piece of info. Was it a robbery and he thought the house was empty? Was he stalking her and raped her?

How would that make any of this crime better? Will any other information help her family with their grief?
Answer is no

I keep trying to say her name and can't pronounce it.

And yes, it will never fit the narrative of the media. Sad to see this happen to her.

No. Cruel and unusual punishment is warranted.

Barbarism. Savagery. It’s the only thing they understand.

I have lots of ideas.

Prayers for Lauralye's family. I cannot imagine the pain, and I hope no one else ever has to.

And may Malik Dennis burn in the farthest depths of Acheron for eternity.

Is that supposed to be your attempt at humor?

Or are you truly just that broken of a human?

Lauralye didn’t grow up to be a hood rat like Trayvon. That’s her & that’s as old as she’ll ever be.

Yes, why do you need to know the motive? Doesn't matter at this point. But, if the races were reversed the main stream media would already be running with racial motivation.

I'm hoping you are mistakenly thinking that Lauralye is the name of the perp, otherwise your post makes you out to be an insensitive dk in need of an azz-whipping.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A two million dollar bond has been set for a Lima teen charged with murder.

Malik Dennis has bond set at $2 million for allegedly murdering Lima teen
18-year-old Malik Dennis had a video arraignment in Lima Municipal Court Friday afternoon. Dennis was charged with murder for the death of 14-year-old Lauralye Sterling. The Lima Police Department says Sterling was found by officers shot to death at 778 Greenlawn Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police add that Dennis and Sterling were acquaintances who lived near one another. The case is still under investigation. If convicted, Dennis could get 15 years to life in prison. He will have a preliminary hearing next Wednesday.
