Right because I’m sure the friends and relatives who witness these possessions and exorcisms are all in on the big lie with the priests.

I heard a Priest say that on a plane he started praying a rosary silently by himself and one of two lesbians poured chocolate on him from the seat behind him for no reason. Those demons hated it.

The Arabs, particularly the descendants of Esau (Jordanians, Palestinians, etc.) have a demonically-inspired hatred for Israel and the Jewish people.

Yes. Demons do exist and they can possess people. Christ cast the demons out of a man into a herd of pigs. You think Charles Manson was not demon possessed?

Yes, but I’m not worried.

Psalm 91:7-8 NIV
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Well. This sounds promising for an atheist?!?! if you start believing in demonic forces you will adopt a belief in heavenly forces as well? But I agree. It's clear for me to see. Bible is still batting 1.00 too.

1 Timothy 4:1 NIV
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Not sure how much difference there is between following demons and demon possession. Your mind gets screwed up after delving in serious sin for too long. the Bible says that you will be given over to the delusion. and you're not gonna find your way back. might as well be possession.

No that is silly and isn’t backed up by New Testament scripture in that he will not allow you to be tempted more than you can handle and will provide a way out. Certainly there was a time and place for demon possession but it has long since passed. However, you can sin to the point where it no longer affects you or causes regret which is really what is taking place. Many people no longer feel there is a definite right and wrong

The question is too simple and cut and dried.

100% Demonic Possession exists. But that is something the large majority of people will never see.

What you will see is demonic influence. People who just follow and do "evil," things - and some of these things are things that many would consider quite normal - due to influences they can't control. Every now and again we may see something more direct, more real - and that stuff is scary.

There is a massive, unseen part of reality that we only get glimpses of. I have a couple of such occurrences in my life. We all probably do. Some understand what they see, some don't.

By just about any metric you could think of.

First, I'm guessing you're very young.

40 years ago was 1985. The world was nothing like today. Even though we didn't have social media, the Democrats were not basically orgasmic at assassination attempts on Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II. There is a vile bloodlust in these people now.

A large amount of the left vilify the law and police while sympathizing with violent criminals. It wasn't always like this. These people are angry at order and want to spread chaos. San Francisco wasn't covered in excrement and used needles. Just look at the shuttered major cities where grocery stores can't even maintain operation. It was not like this 20 years ago, much less 40 or 60 years ago.

Well. This applies to believers. In a sense, were already possessed so we can't be "repossessed." For unbelievers, an obsession with the occult and "inviting" spirits is a baaad idea (IMO) and could lead to a sort of possession.. There is no escaping the fact that we become what we consume.

100%

There are different levels of demonic influence. A lot of what you’re seeing these days is not full blown possession. But I believe some of it is.

The further we get away from the Church and the nuclear family, the more space we give for the influence of evil.

The abortion rate in America was much higher in 1985 than it is today.

There is nothing more evil than abortion.

People see what they want to see. That is how our minds work. And some people are good at using that to their advantage.

Have you ever been to a professional magic show?

I saw David Copperfield levitate a napkin between his hands. He was standing 3 feet in front of me and was staring straight at me.

It looked real, but I knew it wasn't.

He'll even tell you - everything he does is an illusion. A mind trick.

Most of the big-time magicians will tell you that your mind has been tricked into believing you saw something that did not really happen.

An exorcism is a magic show.

In The Exorcist

A work of fiction.
Based on a real case: 'Blatty based his story on a reported exorcism of a boy known by the pseudonyms “Roland Doe” or “Robbie Mannheim” in 1949. The case involved a 14-year-old boy in Maryland who, after using a Ouija board, allegedly began experiencing disturbing phenomena: objects moving on their own, strange noises, and violent behavior. Jesuit priests performed a series of exorcisms on him, and the case was documented by clergy involved.'

Do you remember the Peter Strzok questioning? That's exactly what demonic possession looks like. There are moments where the pure evil cannot be contained or concealed.

Sure. Remember Legions and the pigs (demons in Legions) were removed and drowned in the lake?
