Nice back track. he literally says they talked him out of participating in it. Nothing is "made up out of thin air"as you say.

I think it is. Usually it’s the case with ALL of the players involved, no matter their race. This is why they are constantly changing the format. That’s not even a debate.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander lives here now. He is black, and also a model citizen. In fact, I've heard absolutely no complaints about any of the current set of Thunder players or any of their family members.

Yeah, I got that implication as well but I’m not sure what it has to do with this:

But some are clearly worse than others. If you follow ASGs of past, you should know this. Guys like Russ, Wemby, Ant typically GAF more than most others. And the other end of the spectrum has guys like (older) Lebron, Luka, Jokic who are barely even trying to get cardio in. KD pointing out why the latter two appear to receive minimal criticism in this regard is a fair take.

Well, to be fair, one is Serbian and the other is Slovenian. Anyone, who has ever been there knows those people are famously laid back. Only thing any Balkan seems to take seriously, historically, is war.
