Genesis is a historical account you idiot. God wrote it and gave it to Moses.

I'm starting to think you're in the toddy camp with the way you so vehemently believe we should teach kids to be gay

There are, at a minimum, hundreds of millions of people who believe Genesis is a literal historical account.

Link?

It's certainly not doctrinal for the vast majority of Christian denominations representing the earth's 2 billion or so christians.

Seems like some people are just easily triggered.

If you don't want your kids to watch it, don't turn it on.

Don't you know that line of thinking only applies when liberals are triggered. When it's the right that's triggered and melting, it's perfectly legitimate.

Since God is all knowing and all about forgiveness. Couldn't he have forgiven Adam & Eve for eating the damn fruit and prevented us living in this Hell called earth?

Who are you to bring judgement on your Creator and His plan? In His redemptive plan mercy and forgiveness is provided through His son Jesus Christ.

You can have this forgiveness by not falling into the same sin as Adam and Eve and questioning the goodness and wisdom of God. Instead put your trust in Jesus Christ and believe the promise, that you will see a time when the consequences of the fall are no more.

It's a really easy discussion.

Not sure why you're scared to have it.

Most of the high schools in our area already have gay/straight alliance groups. The kids are already talking about it and seeing it whether you want them to or not.

I don't have kids yet and I'm sick of cultural marxists pushing their sick propaganda on innocent children that are not supposed to have a single care in the world, especially grown arse adult shite like trannies and gay sex.

Isn't that kind of what a lot of religious parents do? Kids don't often get a choice. They are forced to attend church, get baptized, confirmed, attend Catholic/Christian schools, etc. It's interesting how something as simple as a television show represents "propaganda" but all of those aforementioned things are cool.

Maybe God's plan is to turn all the idiots and shitbags gay so they don't reproduce?

Seems like a good plan to me.

If you're right, I would have wasted a life.
If I'm right, you would have wasted an eternity.

I'm not sure I could ever be as confident as you in something so crucial.

I have little 10-14 year old cousins who dress like 30 year olds and act like they're having a midlife crisis. They don't act like kids anymore. They don't even have childhoods. They're all going to be drugged out balls of stress fueled psychos when they grow up.

This is just silly be be outraged over. Gay people exist, many coming out when they're still minors. Everyone knows someone who is gay. You can't hide it from kids. Chances are they'll know a kid who is gay.

Talking about it to older teens I really don't give a frick. Young teens though? No. I think it's a remarkably bad idea to come out of the closet in junior high. Kids are mean little frickers and it's basically an open invitation for shitheads to use you as a punching bag.

Plus they've just hit puberty. They have no clue what is going on. Like for instance I and everyone in my class thought this chick in 6th grade was the hottest girl in our grade all because she got boobs first; fast forward two years when all the chicks have boobs and we realized she was a complete butterface and one of the more unattractive girls in my grade.

Until Ratzinger became Pope, catholic doctrine maintained Adam and Eve were literal people for 2000 years.

Now obviously not all Catholics believe that, but it's safe to assume a decent portion of the 1.2 billion Catholics on Earth do.

And of course, you'll have a tough time finding a western evangelical who doesn't believe the book is on some level a historical account. That's tens of millions more. Many Protestant denominations, such as methodists, also traditionally hold to a historical interpretation.
