I don't know if there's anyone I hate more than the advertisers and show producers in charge of children's content nowadays.
What the frick happened to just letting kids be kids. Let them grow up and make their own decisions. Stop jamming your jaded fricked up world views down their throats. Does no one understand subtlety anymore? frick this generation of parents. They're raising lunatics. I have little 10-14 year old cousins who dress like 30 year olds and act like they're having a midlife crisis. They don't act like kids anymore. They don't even have childhoods. They're all going to be drugged out balls of stress fueled psychos when they grow up.
Look at a show like Hey Arnold or Doug or SpongeBob. Plenty of adult themes tacked in those shows without beating you over the head with it.

This is just silly be be outraged over. Gay people exist, many coming out when they're still minors. Everyone knows someone who is gay. You can't hide it from kids. Chances are they'll know a kid who is gay.
If you don't like it, don't let your kids watch it. If someone wants to let their kids watch it, let them. It's not going to turn your kids gay.

No it isn't. Someone isn't going to watch a show and all of a sudden want a dick in their arse. I know quite a few gay men and not a single one of them all of a sudden decided to be gay. They just are. I didn't decide to be straight. I just am.

No 6-12 year old has any idea what sexuality and gender role he identifies with. He's just a kid. Let the kid be a kid. Again, stop jamming your world view into his head. Saw a promo for that show some weeks ago and my 3 year old son actually asked if that was a boy. True story.

Because it's relevant to the discussion. They didn't watch a show and decide to be gay. It's not enlightening to know gay men since almost everyone knows at least one.

You have no freaking clue.
Half the gay kids in high schools are attention whores. They don't make the popular kid group, so they are "gay" and these shows are making it cool to have a gay friend so they become uber popular overnight.
My favorite is the girl from Mississippi that was banned from wearing a tux to her senior prom. She caused an uproar and they canceled the prom and the parents of the normal kids had a private prom for their kids.
This girl goes on Ellen, gets celebrities to fund her a scholarship and ends up pregnant within a year - she was just doing it for attention.
