Did you really think he wasn’t going to pardon his son?

Everyone here acting like they’re shocked and they’ve been lied to.

Grow up people. He was always going to do it, despite what you were told.

This is one of the powers granted to the president, and there’s no way Joe wasn’t going to use it.

Yeah I mean it’s his son. But it also doesn’t give the left a leg to stand on when Trump pardons the Jan. 6 folks. Not that I think Biden gives a shite about that.

It wasn't the pardon, it was the lying media suggesting months ago that Biden and Democrats were following the rule of law when noble Joe pledged not to pardon Hunter.

Of course, the lying continues when lying media "reports" that the pardon is only for the two criminal cases in which Hunter has been convicted. The pardon covers ALL potential federal crimes Hunter might have committed over the past 10 years and 11 months.

Finally, the lying media cites Trump's pardons in the whataboutism, but they omit the worst abuse of presidential pardon authority in history: the purchase of a pardon from Clinton by Mark Rich.

We just took him and his lil pixie press secretary’s word.

They told us multiple times under no circumstance would he step in.

I'm only surprised he didn't do it January 19.

It happened now for some as yet unknown reason.

Maybe Biden thinks he won't be President until January 20, 2025 and he didn't want to leave this to someone else.

He did it now to avoid sentencing in the gun case.

He was always going to do it. Just sometime after the election win or lose.

I mean I’d do it too if it was my son but I wouldn’t have been vehemently denying I would in the lead up.

Surprised he didn’t pardon himself as well

Of course I knew that lying son of a bitch was going to pardon his POS son, but I didn't know the MSM would run cover for his lie. I figured that they would have felt lied to also.

It's like no one has been watching Joe Biden for the last 50 years.

It's not that he did it. It was all the doubling down about how he wouldn't do it. Then the lecturing about wrongful prosecution after everything his DOJ did on his watch to his political opponents.

Eh. I don't really care. Don't know know the guy and it won't impact my life one way or the other

Honestly I think the whole thing was about leveraging his sons bad behavior against his dad for political gain. Now that biden has been neutered there really isn't much point in that anymore.

But I'm not generally a vindictive person either.

No, I think everyone knew he would if he/Kamala didn't win the election.

However, two things with it.

1). How much they lied about it. Instead of saying "we will have to see the outcome of the event's" or something to that extent, they were firm with "No". Can't wait to see Deucy destroy binder.

2) Doing it now instead of waiting until January 19th. Makes it obvious with how it was done and the reaction to the nominations that he needed to protect his family from the crimes they all committed.

His brother and the rest of family will be next pardons granted.

But don't understand how you can pardon for a crime that hasn't been charged yet.

Before it’s all done, Biden will blanket pardon himself and his entire family from 2014 to present.

He would have done it regardless of who the nominee was or who won the election. He has to. If he doesn't, he leaves himself vulnerable to his own criminal prosecution. Hunter was the bagman. He knows where every single body is buried. Given his trailer park-meth mouth character, who thinks he wouldn't testify to burn Joe in an act of revenge for Joe not pardoning him?

We're talking about a bunch of crabs in a bucket when we're talking about the Biden family. Not one of them has any moral compass at all.

Didn't Ford do that with Nixon, or do I misremember? Didn't he phrase that pardon to cover any additional charges that might be brought?

I think Clay Travis said it the best and I agree with him

He said he would do the same thing if it were his son, but he wouldn’t say for a year straight that he wouldn’t and then go after people that accused him that he would. He said that just makes him look more of a joke than he already is

The reason that people agree with this sentiment is exactly why Hunter Biden is such an amoral POS in the first place, and exactly why there are so many in this country just like him, and exactly why that number will continue to increase going forward.

That's what happens when you never allow your child to face the consequences of his actions. You teach them that there are no consequences.

It's not loving. At all. It's entirely selfish, actually.

But i do agree that he should have just told the truth, which is, "I'm part of the ruling class and the laws are different for us. Justice is dependent upon bloodlines and the idea of equal justice under the law is a joke. Suck it, peons."
