Trump cost himself votes because of how he behaved and that played a huge role in 2020. If Trump didn’t cost himself votes the cheat becomes much harder to pull off.

Trump got millions of MORE votes in his second election. Trumps loss was a near statistical impossibility. We know illegal votes were counted. I’m leaning towards fraudulent votes too.

I don’t dispute that. But he did cost himself votes all while motivating a political party that has more registered voters and simultaneously pushing away independents that he desperately needs. We’ve seen this play out in the last 3 election cycles. The states that are determining the winner do not like him or his endorsed candidates. Swing 10,000 votes from Biden back to Trump in Arizona and they then have to produce additional votes to get joe the victory. The wine moms hate Trump and the independents aren’t exactly fond of the guy. As Rammer Jammer has pointed out you have Trump underperforming other republicans in the state and Arizona isn’t the only place you find that happening.

He hurt himself. That’s just what it is. It made the dems more palpable to vote for, made Trump himself impossible to support (but still voting R down ballot), that closed gaps in states he should’ve won and with the mass mail in ballots being harvested…. You have a victory for Biden. It’s like when a favored team loses because of turnovers. The other team won but you gave it away too with unforced errors.

I’ll vote for him or Ron but we have little margin for error here no matter who the nominee is.

100 percent agreed. I don’t like the chances at all

Yep. Doesn’t mean Trump is a better candidate than DeSantis.

Fraud or otherwise, Trump let Biden beat him.

Good answer

Whether it's fair or not we need someone who can navigate a tilted board and not constantly score own goals or get distracted by shiny objects to make the challenge even more difficult.

Not that I would encourage this but if you were to go through my posting history you’d find me talking about the voter rolls going back years now. That’s the genesis point for the fraud. I worked on trying to get the voter rolls cleaned up here in Cali. I had to get approved to do so. Not just anyone can volunteer and get access. But there were obvious cases of fraud. Our job was to flag those instances for review by the powers that be to get cleared up. There was nothing partisan about it because party identification is not listed. When we had mass mail in ballots sent out… I knew right then we were going to have problems with the election. As long as those things are distributed to everyone on a state’s rolls there is reason to doubt the results in a closely contested election. I don’t like saying that or having to acknowledge it. But as I’ve said before it doesn’t take millions of votes to flip an election. Thousands is all it takes.

Yes. Can't prove it, but way too many suspicious moves for it to be totally kosher.

Trump's actions since have made him even more radioactive for the general electorate.

WRONG question. It is likely almost every important election has fraud.

Sorry, that’s a bullshite response. The scale matters, and it was large, targeted and organized in 2020.

I believe the Republicans have a plan, now, to neutralize it to some extent. They most likely will not use it if Trump is the nominee. After all, why would they support a jackass who has been vilifying each of them for years?

Because they swore an oath to uphold the US Constitution.

Are you suggesting that they be complicit in sedition?

If so, why do you feel that is an okay thing to do?

And you'd have to be a goddamned moron to vote to re-elect the guy who sat in the most powerful seat in the world and allowed it to happen.

States control elections, not the president. The states need to clean this shite up.

So you would have preferred a tyrannical approach?

Should be easy to link all the court victories and convictions then.

The same judges who kept interfering in Trumps travel bans? Or the judge in NY who engineered a Trump "defamation" conviction, 30 years later?

Those courts?
