This is why the Apostle Paul told women to keep their pie holes shut at church.

This simple sentence is ignorant in three separate ways:

1) It’s the Reformation, not “Protestant Revolution”
2) Martin Luther advocated “sola scriptura” which holds the scriptures above everything else, in direct contradiction to the “pastor” that believes scripture needs revisions
3) Luther didn’t want to leave the Catholic Church, he was excommunicated because the Catholics wanted their sweet sweet indulgences

A UCC Bishop just declared we need a “Third Testament” because the first two are “problematic” and full of “bad theology.”

I guess by "problematic" she means "we don't like what it says and want to re-write it so that it's what we agree with".

Correct. These people are unreal.

The "word of God", according to who? The people who wrote it?

According to Jesus Christ,
John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.
John 5:46-47 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.but if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?

you Christians have been editing and adding to the NT at will over the centuries.

Versions are not “editing and adding”. The are 2 main manuscripts, the Byzantine and the Alexandrian, both are legitimate and are used to put in different languages.

If you don’t believe in the sovereign God who wrote the Word by men inspired by Holy Spirit and His sovereignty put it in written Scripture, I can’t help you.

What’s problematic is that the Mormons beat them to it! They already wrote a newer testament in the 1800s.

We don’t like what it says so we need to add our own scripture, says the democrat sista.

They would change everything until it had no resemblance to the bible.

I'm not sure what happened to it. This place didn't take it down, but maybe the source where I found it took it down.

I hope you re-upload it and get it back.

I'm a member of a UCC church. Everything's gone so far to the left it's falling off a cliff. We had our state Annual Meeting a couple weeks ago. Here are a couple of the hot topics covered in the latest newsletter.

Of course...

The ultimate re-writing of history. This is the same idiocy that embraces the 1619 Project taken to its logical conclusion.

Galatians 1:6-9

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

They pervert it to try and destroy God's plan but his words will not return unto him void.
They create churches to get gain and power and control over the people. So many mislead and the newer ones have bands on the rostrum singing song about God but truly focus on man and his "feelings", using emotion to capture an audience. Some just say what some groups want to hear, like the gay community or blacks or others.
They don't teach the gospel as Christ taught it...none, that emanated from the catholic church on down.

I've always been under the belief that Revelation is sort of out of place when you take the rest of the New Testament into consideration

As the only book of prophecy in the New Testament, of course it seems out of place. Daniel probably seemed a little strange also until history unfolded so exactly according to the prophecy that people accused the book of being written after the events that were prophesied. The Dead Sea Scrolls pretty well squashed those theories.
