The surf n turf at Dhafara was awesome during Desert Shield

At the Deid with shite contractor cooks was barf inducing.

Shaw Afb home of 9th Air Force was outstanding.

The frequency of soldiers, sailors, and Marines getting surf and turf at the chow hall is pretty infrequent. You never know if it means embrace the suck. The Air Force probably just calls room service.

We didn't always have room service sometimes we actually had to enter a dining facility.

But I can tell you guys I trained are running balls to the wall flying right now.

Then running to bunkers when trying to sleep.

They are waiving a ton of safety and FAA required flying hours regulations

Sacrifices. However I still got made to order omelets prior to flying over desert countries.

The issue isn't so much about whether soldiers deserve these perks, the issue should be that the only reason they are getting them is because these agencies need to spend the money at the end of the year or they risk losing funds in future budgets. If this is how they need to spend the money to make sure they don't lose future funding, then they need to lose that funding because they did not need the money.
