It’s sounds like the gay guy was about to FAFO.
If the gate attendant had been a white male, there is ZERO percent chance that the “misgendered” gay guy checks up on the condescending attitude. More than likely, he doubles down until the white guy is fired due to bad publicity on social media.
Good for the gate attendant for standing his ground though.

I had a patient who was transitioning in his 70's, believe it or not, he was a Vietnam Marine who was ugly as sin and looked every bit like a 70 y/o Vietnam vet.
It was impossible to call the dude ma-am because he looked every bit like a guy, and my brain isn't wrapped that way. So I just referred to him as you.

The IT was trying to be an a-hole. The delta employee misspoke and even tried to use the IT’s preferred pronouns, but the IT tried to make an issue out of nothing and got shutdown by the delta employee.
Side note: that fricking sentence was a mother fricker trying to write it while navigating the pronoun minefield. frick this gay earth.

I'd say let them boycott, so these freaks don't travel with them anymore and their employees don't have to deal with this shite anymore. Sometimes backing your employees go way further. Win-Win

My 5 year old asks very loudly “daddy is the a girl or a boy”? I just smile and wave while hoping she changes the subject….. things our parents didn’t have to deal with .

These airline reps miss the days when the worst they had to deal with was an angry drunk. No one would try to get the employee fired for keeping a drunk off a flight but gender confusion is a lot trickier and can be a career-ender.
