When cancel culture started it was about finding posts online from a decade ago when alot of the targets were teenagers.

Bit of a difference now.

This.

They'll cry about this, say it's unfair, then turn around and do the exact same thing to you a few months down the road because you say men shouldn't be placed in women's prisons.

We're too far gone now, unfortunately.

Don't be. This is simply making an employer aware of an employee's conduct in public spaces. The employer then will decide if they want to keep an employee who projects that image in public.

If that's all it is used for, I'm totally down with it.

You keep playing the slippery slope argument.

We already slid down the slope. The Left did that years ago.

There’s no slippery slope left to traverse. Get over it. The genie isn’t going back into the bottle. The Left doesn’t stop doxxing righties because they don’t get doxxed.

Well, we could have legislation that protects people. The problem is that would protect them along with us.

I'm willing to suffer job loss if that means they suffer as well.

Got it.

Have a great day

It would protect psychopathic idiots as well.

“I want to kill my manager!”

“Report to HR.”

“Look, you’re legally protected when you say kill your manager, but we’d prefer you didn’t.”

You can’t craft a bill that protects incendiary speech in the workplace without empowering psychopaths.

Further, it would remove the rights of business owners to conduct their own business. It’s all dumb.

Are you upset that the rabbit has the gun or just pointing out the differences now?

This will make companies follow through, it’s easy to put out a statement and then do nothing.

We see things differently, that's all

Who gets to define incendiary speech? Me, you, them?

Threats are different and I think you know that.
But if they had their way, saying you like Charlie Kirk or Trump would be enough to get you fired.

Silly me, thinking I should not have to hide my views to keep my job.

I have a friend that works for Microsoft and he has to do just that.
I happen to think he should not have to hide his views in order to keep his job.

Normalizing and inciting public assassinations is not a “view”.

And people have always had to keep their views hidden to keep their jobs. Or do you think I can tell my management exactly what I think about them?

Go after the most high profile first. Remember, eventually the gas will run out on the outrage so make sure to go after the biggest fish first.
