I'm with you, why not tackle the guy as he starts walking away? Why wait until he does something so stupid that the cop is left with no choice....cop had choices and opportunity to make this non lethal before he turns and walks around his car.....they haf every advantage....the victim/perp was fricked up, somewhat disoriented the cop could have effected a take down, and everyone lives.

It’s always someone else’s fault...never the person that the police were called on.
And even after the perp continues to disobey orders and puts everyone on scene’s life in danger.....it’s still not his fault
