NY typically updates in the evening before 8PM. I suspect it will correct then.

New Yorks numbers look fricked today. 1k+ deaths and less than 400 cases??? What sorcery are they doing over there.
I believe they added 400ish today since their death totals after their normal reporting time was around 630.

This is the link to the US state level tracker that I have shared via Google Drive. Chromdome's State Level COVID-19 Daily Tracker
This is the link to the COVID-19 Country tracker that I have shared on Google Drive. Chromdome's COVID-19 Daily Tracker
The source for the data is https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
The source for the testing data is from https://covidtracking.com/data/
NOTE: The daily growth rate data will not be accurate until the end of the day's postings. It will change throughout the day.
NOTE: I am not a mathematician, statistics guru, scientist, sharpest tack in the box, I'm just a guy who likes to understand for myself what is happening and to share it with others. This thread was not created to debate if you should or shouldn't take this seriously, it is simply to present the numbers and foster conversation.

The American people are about to start getting very irritated. Just feels like nothing is adding up.

Really really disappointed that growth rate in new cases went up today
Where the hell are people getting the virus?

It comes from more tests given at whats becoming a fairly consistent 20% positive rate.
For the last 4 days of testing, it appears the new normal is in the 158K ish range.

Lowe's is packed, Brookshire's is the new community center.

Missouri has had a couple days of higher positives tests. With increasing number of Covid positive patients.
But hospital utilization is dropping quickly. 168 fewer people in the hospital. Only 13 new deaths. There is only one county where the infection rate shows any acceleration and it’s a more rural county.

I think the only way to get a test as an asymptomatic person is to be a healthcare worker. That’s how it’s working here anyway.

San Miguel County in Colorado is antibody testing all 8,000 of its people. 6,000 tested so far, but only about 2,500 results logged so far.

This. We're shutting down our economy, but people aren't isolating.

Folks, as I have said many times, more testing = more cases confirmed. It's not a bad thing as long as the ICU numbers continue to drop. It just means the virus isn't done spreading through certain communities yet.

How many had antibodies? Do you know??

Right. I find it reassuring that test availability has only increased recently, yet positive cases still have remained flat.
It stands to reason that as we switch from testing only people with symptoms to testing people with less restrictions, that cases will increase. It’s also likely we will catch way more of the less extreme cases.
