Daily check-in thread. I’m getting angrier each day. Shite isn’t going away.

I keep seeing Charlie videos coming up of him debating and being so gracious in the face of radical libs who have hatred in their eyes. I thought I would shake the feeling in my gut about this after a few days. But it’s still there, and this reaction from the left is turning my grief into white-hot anger.
This isn’t just some run of the mill story for a news cycle. This is something I won’t shake.

His wife's casket video was awful. It kills me to see her in so much pain, but wait there's more. Then you have his kids who keep asking where their daddy is. The rhetoric that has been sewn over the years into the fabric of America is starting to finally rear its ugly head.

There is no doubt that this is one of those pivotal moments in history that will have a long-term impact on all of us. There are different stages of grief, and people deal with grief differently. What comes after the grief becomes numbness is anyone's guess.
I don't think there's any doubt that none of us will remain untouched by this tragedy. And that's probably a good thing!

I can't get over the stupidity, the uncomprehending masses. Hey, I'm not at all religious. To each their own, with their (consensual) lifestyle. But he's a devout Christian and if he thinks homosexuality is wrong that does not mean he HATES gay people. If he has concerns about DEI hiring practices, that does not have to mean he is racist.

Feel the same way. Went to church with my wife this morning and I was just waiting for some BS (downtown Fort Lauderdale) tip toe around. It was the opposite, direct message mentioning Charlie, Iryna, and the catholic school shooting. Message was around fearing God instead of man. It’s just what we needed. Wife cried which she never does.
I’m struggling with every liberal I see walking around down here. The ones you know by first glance, pajamas, colored hair, nose rings, etc…it’s taking every ounce of my power not to call them out. Fortunately though, we have something to lose and know who we serve.
