It'll be a wash on how it positively impacts the lives of average Americans. We'll spend hundreds of billions, if not trillions, of dollars in security, aid, and rebuilding in Venezuela. We might even get some soldiers killed. In the end a few corporations and banks will rake in huge profits and the American taxpayers will get nothing but a bill.

If anybody else had even floated the idea of doing these things or anything like them, they would have literally pissed their pants while typing they would have been in such a froth.

I've always been in favor of American hegemony. They've always literally denounced it directly.

Literally, as recently as last week.

Where are the posts about how much this operation cost while we're umpty-Trlllion dollars in debt? Where are the posts about refusing to send their children overseas to potentially die in military operations for the benefit of some other country? Where are the posts of "Muh 'Merca 'Fust!" in protest of involving ourselves in another country's affairs? Where are the posts about "Globalists" and "starting WWIII for profit?"

Instead, what we get are posts about how Venezuelans are celebrating, so that means it was the right thing to do.

I used to think the collective IQ here was low.

Now I think it's not about IQ. Nobody could be this dumb and still be functional in society. I think there are two kinds of TDS. Trump Derangement Syndrome and Trump Deification Syndrome. This board suffers from the latter.

It's a religion, completely divorced from reason or reality. It's the only explaination that makes sense to me.

Tough ask, when the current White House occupant has effectively sealed the southern border. But if they figure out they can still enter via Snow Mexico on the northern border, it could be a problem.
