You talk about empathy, do you have any for the man wearing the Trump hat? What exactly did he do wrong?
I have already said (multiple times) that my sympathies lie with him.

Are you really quibbling about "sympathy" versus "empathy?"

And you base this off of someone's remarks? Interesting

The issue is you have a small bit of zealots on the left and a small bit on the right. The rest of the people truly just want to live their lives the best way they can.

I'm glad you think the lady attacking the man in the red hat is low IQ. She definitely demonstrated it.

Yes you did. My apologies.

No.

I base it upon more than sixty years of empirical observation.

But it is not just a matter of politics, in any traditional sense.

You get these childish, emotional tirades about EVERYTHING.

FFS, you get people killing each other over what football team jersey someone else is wearing.

Yours or someone else's? Directly or indirectly?

Everyone does that though. The problem is we all tend to base everything off of how we would be or do in situations. Fortunately or unfortunately, there is more than one way to skin a cat. You could be right, you could be wrong.

Absolutely ridiculous

Yep, whether it's red Trump hats, destroying certain types of cars, believing a man is a woman, etc.

Mine.

I think that most people are both unintelligent and overly-emotional, and I make no apology for that assessment.

Unintelligent in what way? Because they don't think like you? Don't do things like you would do them?

Can't argue with overly emotional. There is plenty of that out there.

No need to apologize if that's how you feel.

I think we all have issues and will continue to have them. No one is immune.

I am not nearly that petty.

Unintelligent in the sense of not being able to do basic math or form comprehensible sentences.

Has anyone proven that SFP and FaggieHank aren’t the same person?

This kid wore this hat on purpose to get a reaction like this. Mission accomplished and good for him. Unhinged gonna come unhinged. Too easy.

If videos had "thought bubbles," you would have seen one for every other person on that train, saying "God, I wish the two of them would just STFU."

Well, we had a thought bubble for one of them, because he was yelling his thoughts out loud, and his thoughts were that she was the reason he won.

And I completely disagree with you about most of them. I think they would have thought him perfectly innocent.

You give commuters more credit than I do

If I were sitting on that train, reading my novel on my phone on the way home, I would not care who is “right” when two people start loudly squabbling ten feet away.

I would just want them to shut the frick up and let me read in peace.

I didn't remotely say that it was a "both sides problem" OR take a side between the two people involved in the confrontation. I simply commented on what I thought was passing through the minds of the hoi polloi on the train.

Hank, You are being disingenuous. You absolutely implied relativism with that comment. There was one problem on that train, and one problem only.
