Could Louisiana take a page out of El Salvador’s book regarding crime?

Tucker had the President of El Salvador on his show tonight. El Salvador has drastically reduced it’s murder rate the past over the last couple years. Before the President was elected, El Salvador had the highest murder rate in the world. So how did he do it? He built a big arse prison that housed up to 40k people and started locking criminals/murders up (I know, crazy). He also threatened to starve prison gang leaders if they didn’t order their foot soldiers on the outside to stop killing innocent people.
Sounds like a solid plan to me. Where could Louisiana build a 40k person prison to lock the animals up?

He basically locked up all the leaders and threatened to kill them if they didn't make the violence stop.
Solid Plan

El Salvador is like the size of Connecticut. The fact that they averaged 10 murders a day there is crazy.

I’m sure amnesty international would prefer the animals were still killing each other and innocent people

The intentionally self destructive media narrative that we have too many people in prison in the US is absurd. We clearly don't have enough people in prison.
Almost all violent criminals are repeat offenders. Every single horrific crime story you've heard about the past few years the perp had numerous arrests and convictions, over and over again.
We identify the violent criminals. We arrest them. We just refuse to actually punish them and let them run amok.
The sad truth is that once someone becomes a violent criminal they almost always stay that way. Rehabilitation is a lie. That's not what prisons are for. If it happens, great, but it's very rare.
You punch an old lady and steal her purse, I really don't care what happens to you. There's no excuse for that ever.

Louisiana has some of the highest incarceration rates in the world. Louisiana is a jacked up place but it's probably not because we have too few people in prison.

Yeah there are definitely not people killing LSU students who need to be locked up….dumbass.

So we should let more out? What’s your take after you or yours is taken out by a “let out” in another high speed chase?

I have said that before.. "What do we do with six flags"? I said build a big arse prison high up so they can't complain about flooding..

LMFAO.
Go ahead moron. Lead us in the right direction. What’s your solution?

I’m thinking the Venezuelans don’t have the civil rights laws we have here that would make this program difficult to achieve.

Only because El Salvador exported their criminal class.

Thanks Insee, its ironic this decline in crime occurred precisely at the time the US borders opened wide.
Back in the 70s they did a similar thing and I remember a gang member was quoted as saying "they too strict here, Im goin back to LA".
The notorious MS-13 was formed in LA but its members were from El Salvador.

But a lot of our problems come from multiple offenders.
people go to jail for minor offenses too.
I know people say, no one is locked up for weed. But they are. Also we have an illegal problem.
Let’s say an illegal gets pulled over for a traffic violation. They go to jail until transferred to ICE.

At least 13% of the federal prison population and nearly 30% of those in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service are illegal immigrants, according to new 2018 numbers released by the Justice Department Wednesday.
