Cormyn has been around since 2022. Hes had 24 years to, in his mind, make a difference. Its time to give somebody else a try.

Also, Cormyn was publicly said he would back a bill for term limits back in 2024. So surely he will understand.

Talarico can win even if you think he is extreme, he’s way less extreme than Paxton

Zero chance Talarico wins because of his positions on God, the border, trans kids, and America. May play in Austin, but that’s it. Paxton’s “extremism” is America First, anti-illegal, pro-Texas. Voters won’t care about anything else he’s done when it comes to what Talarico has said.

Dude said he won't eat Texas BBQ

That's his prerogative. I love Texas barbecue, but I have three immediate family members in the Greater Houston area who refuse barbecue or any other meat. And they're on board with Talarico.

You’re entitled to your opinion. No qualms there. All I can tell you is that Paxton is viewed as the better matchup.

When it comes to Texas, the Bible does matter. Talarico may get a small number, who knows. He is a preacher after all. But Paxton can’t appeal to anyone at all regarding God. It’s a direct hit, as Paxton’s wife is divorcing him “on biblical grounds”.

When the tea party had their first gathering in Austin on the capitol steps, Cornyn showed up and tried to Marshal their support. He was booed off the stage as being part of the problem they were organizing to fix and pointed to his tarp bailout vote. His reckoning has been awhile coming. He even had the opportunity to SAVE his job and chose to ignore it. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

He’s not even a vegan. I saw him eating chicken fingers at an event in Houston a week ago.

If it were 1956, this may float.

In 2026, that turd will sink to the bottom of the bowl. Nobody cares about divorces anymore. Unless Paxton was cheating with a male hooker, then he's fine.

So it begins. Headline just now:

"Talarico Denies He’s Vegan, Says He’s Been ‘Eating Barbecue Since Before Ken Paxton’s First Indictment’

Republicans estimate they will have to pivot and send 250 million defending Paxton, moving funds from other races.

Maybe so. But I’m talking 10-20 percent less voter turnout. People just staying home because they don’t support his actions.
